1) The genre is a crime drama that follows two undercover police officers, Sara and George, investigating a student they suspect robbed a bank at their school. 2) Over the course of the film, the officers follow the student and find blood drops in his bag, realizing he may be a famous child killer. They eventually capture him and discover his true identity. 3) The title sequence will introduce the two main characters as they begin their investigation at school, ending on a cliffhanger of them looking into a delinquent student.

1. Final Ideas for my Final Opening Coursework Task
Genre:
The genre that I am going to use will be a crime drama. this type of film is a subgenre of drama Films often have
detectives in which characterises the police that investigate a series of crimes.
Narrative & Plot:
The narrative of my film will follow A male and a female character ( Sara and George) who are secret police. the film
takes place in the setting of school.
the film opens with the police talking with a teacher because they are investigating and following a student, who they
suspect has robbed a bank. They don’t know exactly if it’s true or not. Once the storey begins the offender is
showing signs and doing weird things that may indicate he is a criminal.
Over the course of the film the police investigate if the student has or has not robbed a bank. Once they are
following him, they realise that they have seen few blood drops on the floor coming from the bag. as the film goes on,
the audience will see how the mystery is resolved and how the problem ends. The police decided to call more police
because they need help. Once they capture him and ask him questions they realise that he was a famous child killer
and they take him to the jail. this is a dark tale of murder, mystery, death and crime.
Title Sequence:
My title sequence will start from the opening shot, where you first see the two police walking pass the school I will
use text throughout the sequence to show this is the opening of a film. The audience will get to know the two police
officers as they begin the investigation together. The sequence end on a cliffhanger where the agents begin to
investigate a delinquent. This will leave the audience wanted to know more about what will happen next.

2. Characters;
I will have three main characters in my film; two police officers and one delinquent. The police will be a young woman
and man, the delinquent will be a older man. The police officer will be wearing a normal clothes, because they can’t be
discovered. The delinquent is wearing a uniform and in his hand has a bag.
Visuals:
The visuals of my film will match codes and conventions of a police crime drama. As my film is also set within a school
it will have the feel of a high school drama. The types of camera shots that I will use will include, close ups, medium
close ups, long shots and all came shots that are conventions of my chosen genre.
Locations:
The scene will be in Sunmarke School.
Sound and Soundtrack:
The Sound, will be a mystery and slow music to add to the dark , mysterious nature of the narrative and genre. this
will keep the attention of the audience as they find the film opening interesting.
