AT&T Tallies More Than 75 Upgrades to Wireless Network
in Lucas County
Capacity and Speed Enhancements Made to Local Mobile Network
TOLEDO, Ohio, Jan. 26, 2017 — AT&T* has upgraded its wireless network within Lucas County
with more than 75 enhancements during 2016. The completed improvements include adding
greater capacity and speeds to cell towers within the county. Across Ohio in 2016, we made
more than 1,900 upgrades to our wireless network.

president of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce. “These network upgrades will benefit
our businesses and residents for years to come.”
“Our Ohio employees are focused on bringing a better mobile experience to Toledo and across
the state. Our investment in the local wireless network is one way we’re accomplishing that,”

These upgrades include more than 50 added layers of radio frequency spectrum. We also
expanded the number of radio frequencies used on more than 20 towers. That increases
speeds for people using these towers. One new cell tower brings added coverage.
