The document appears to be the results of a survey about music preferences. It summarizes the responses to multiple choice questions about respondents' ages, gender, preferred music genres and artists, aesthetic preferences, music magazine reading habits, and expected pricing for a music magazine. The majority of respondents were aged 16-18, female, preferred pop and alternative music, and Lana Del Rey as an artist. They also preferred the color grey, 4-6 cover lines, and would pay £3.99 for a magazine.

The document describes the process of creating a contents page for a school magazine in Quark. The creator used purple text to link to the school colors. 13 pages were listed with spacing between to make pages easy to find. Photographs were taken and edited in Photoshop then sized for the cover with page numbers. Additional text was created in Photoshop to match the color scheme and font plan. A pencil logo was used as appropriate for the magazine genre. Creating the contents page helped understand how to use Quark and insert text and images from other programs.
This school magazine includes a main image, title, and price. It features articles on a pink day event, upcoming lunch menu, an interview with the head girl and boy, a survey of top songs voted by music students, general school news, a survey of top films voted by film students, and information about an upcoming Halloween event.

The questionnaire responses showed that most respondents were female, aged 17, and their favorite colors were blue and green. Most people watched TV during prime time on weeknights and their most watched channel was Channel 4. Respondents said they liked ice cream and were interested in learning more about how it's made. Chocolate was identified as the most popular ice cream flavor. Most people were not aware of how unhealthy ice cream can be and were interested in learning about alternatives.
The questionnaire responses showed that most respondents were female, aged 17-50, and their favorite ice cream flavors were chocolate and green. Most people watch TV during prime time on channels like Channel 4 and occasionally. The majority said they like ice cream, are not aware how it's made, and would find a documentary on ice cream interesting. Many are loyal to brands like Ben & Jerry's and think branded ice cream tastes better. Respondents knew of 1-3 local ice cream places and were interested in learning more about ice cream making and history. They view ice cream as slightly unhealthy and want to know alternatives.
This document discusses water supply and sanitation issues facing low-income communities in Indonesia. It notes disparities in access to opportunities between wealthy and poor people globally and in developing countries. Specific issues addressed include lack of access to clean water and sanitation, water-borne diseases like diarrhea, efforts to address these problems, and targets and progress under the Millennium Development Goals to improve access to safe drinking water and sanitation. The document also provides an overview of a project in Indonesia that included infrastructure development, education, and capacity building to work toward these targets.
This document contains a list of sketches that were planned including a sketch for Cafe Cream, a sketch for a dentist, a sketch for someone named Nicholls, and a sketch for Cheshire Ice Cream.

RFP for Reno's Community Assistance CenterThis Is Reno
Property appraisals completed in May for downtown Reno’s Community Assistance and Triage Centers (CAC) reveal that repairing the buildings to bring them back into service would cost an estimated $10.1 million—nearly four times the amount previously reported by city staff.

This report explores the significance of border towns and spaces for strengthening responses to young people on the move. In particular it explores the linkages of young people to local service centres with the aim of further developing service, protection, and support strategies for migrant children in border areas across the region. The report is based on a small-scale fieldwork study in the border towns of Chipata and Katete in Zambia conducted in July 2023. Border towns and spaces provide a rich source of information about issues related to the informal or irregular movement of young people across borders, including smuggling and trafficking. They can help build a picture of the nature and scope of the type of movement young migrants undertake and also the forms of protection available to them. Border towns and spaces also provide a lens through which we can better understand the vulnerabilities of young people on the move and, critically, the strategies they use to navigate challenges and access support.
The findings in this report highlight some of the key factors shaping the experiences and vulnerabilities of young people on the move – particularly their proximity to border spaces and how this affects the risks that they face. The report describes strategies that young people on the move employ to remain below the radar of visibility to state and non-state actors due to fear of arrest, detention, and deportation while also trying to keep themselves safe and access support in border towns. These strategies of (in)visibility provide a way to protect themselves yet at the same time also heighten some of the risks young people face as their vulnerabilities are not always recognised by those who could offer support.
In this report we show that the realities and challenges of life and migration in this region and in Zambia need to be better understood for support to be strengthened and tuned to meet the specific needs of young people on the move. This includes understanding the role of state and non-state stakeholders, the impact of laws and policies and, critically, the experiences of the young people themselves. We provide recommendations for immediate action, recommendations for programming to support young people on the move in the two towns that would reduce risk for young people in this area, and recommendations for longer term policy advocacy.
Combined Illegal, Unregulated and Unreported (IUU) Vessel List.Christina Parmionova
The best available, up-to-date information on all fishing and related vessels that appear on the illegal, unregulated, and unreported (IUU) fishing vessel lists published by Regional Fisheries Management Organisations (RFMOs) and related organisations. The aim of the site is to improve the effectiveness of the original IUU lists as a tool for a wide variety of stakeholders to better understand and combat illegal fishing and broader fisheries crime.
To date, the following regional organisations maintain or share lists of vessels that have been found to carry out or support IUU fishing within their own or adjacent convention areas and/or species of competence:
Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR)
Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna (CCSBT)
General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM)
Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission (IATTC)
International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT)
Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC)
Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (NAFO)
North East Atlantic Fisheries Commission (NEAFC)
North Pacific Fisheries Commission (NPFC)
South East Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (SEAFO)
South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (SPRFMO)
Southern Indian Ocean Fisheries Agreement (SIOFA)
Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC)
The Combined IUU Fishing Vessel List merges all these sources into one list that provides a single reference point to identify whether a vessel is currently IUU listed. Vessels that have been IUU listed in the past and subsequently delisted (for example because of a change in ownership, or because the vessel is no longer in service) are also retained on the site, so that the site contains a full historic record of IUU listed fishing vessels.
Unlike the IUU lists published on individual RFMO websites, which may update vessel details infrequently or not at all, the Combined IUU Fishing Vessel List is kept up to date with the best available information regarding changes to vessel identity, flag state, ownership, location, and operations.

Article Critique: Masking Poor Communication
Use the ProQuest online database (found in the Ashford
Online Library) to locate the article entitled, “Close
Relationships Sometimes Mask Poor Communication.” Write
a two-page paper (excluding title and reference pages) about
your thoughts on this article. In your paper, be sure also to
address the following:
Have you ever had a miscommunication with someone close
to you simply because you assumed that they understood
you? What happened?
How can you make sure that this kind of miscommunication
does not happen in the future? Or when it does happen,
what could you do to make your communication more clear?
Be sure to reference the ProQuest article and at least one of
the other course readings from this week in your paper. This
can be your textbook or one of the recommended articles.
The paper must be formatted according to APA style. Cite

Improving Verbal Communication
3. In Chapter Four of Making Connections: Understanding
Interpersonal Communication , the author discusses the
power of language and how verbal communication can affect
interpersonal relationships. The author also mentions ways in
which you can improve your verbal communication. Explain
how you will use these improved skills to make your verbal
communication more effective. Use a specific example of
someone in your life (past or present) whom you have
difficulty communicating with. Describe ways in which you
could improve your communication with this person.
Your initial response should be 150-200 words in length and
is due by Thursday,
Nonverbal Miscommunication
Nonverbal communication is one of the most powerful ways
that we communicate in our interpersonal relationships.
Sometimes, however, we may find ourselves unintentionally
communicating something that we do not mean to. This
tends to happen quite often in intercultural communication
situations (when we are communicating across different
cultures). Provide an example of a time when you
nonverbally communicated something other than what you
meant. Or, use an example of when someone else
nonverbally communicated something to you that was
different than what they meant. What happened in this
situation? Be specific in your example and also discuss what
you will do in the future to avoid this.
Your initial response should be 150-200 words in length and
is due by Thursday,

Week three
Everyone Has a Culture
Some students think that they do not have much of a cultural
background because they were not born outside of the
United States or because they do not speak another
language. The truth is that everyone has a culture! Your
culture can be related to your race, ethnicity, gender, age,
5. nationality, religion, sexual orientation, ability, etc. Take
some time to write about your own culture and share with us
what makes you who you are. Try to not focus on just one
aspect of yourself, but try to utilize as many cultural
elements as possible. Also, address why culture is important
in communication. How does your culture affect your
communication with others?
Your initial response should be 150-200 words in length
Willingness to Listen
Research from communication expert, James McCorskey, has
been very influential in research within the interpersonal
communication field. He is especially well-known for his
communication research scales. Go to the Willingness to
Listen website and complete the “Willingness to Listen
Measure.” Follow the directions on the website to score your
results. Based on your results, do you have a high, moderate,
