What’s personification?
 Personification is a figure of speech in which an
object, an idea or an animal is given human
attributes. In other words, we feel the non-human
things have the ability to act like humans beings.
 Personification is used to emphasise a point or make
it easier for people to understand what is being
described.
 For example:
The sky wept for days.
(Weep means cry. Hence, the sentence means It
rained for days.)
