LCCC participated in 43 festivals and 21 parades across Lorain County in 2010 to promote the college's programs and opportunities to prospective students and voters. Over 250 volunteers, including staff, students and faculty, contributed more than 1600 hours at the events. The high level of community involvement helps raise awareness of LCCC and builds connections with key stakeholders in the county.
