A Year In Retrospect… With a club membership of  over 162 members , this 2009-2010 school year, Marina Key Club: •  had  35  total club meetings, averaging    61  attendees per lunch meeting •  participated in  34  major Key Club    service projects •  served  1,413.5 hours  of community    service •  raised  over $900  by fundraising for    charity and the club
The Return of Pop Tabs! We will once again be accepting pop tabs, so start collecting!  100 tabs are worth 1 hour of service
Oak View Tutoring this Friday, from 2PM-4PM Project Cherish Saturday, June 19 th , from 8:00AM-noon, at the Roger Senior Center (1706 Orange Ave., HB, CA 92648)
New Event!  Gardening at Central Park Saturday, May 29 from 9-11AM We will be weeding, mulching and watering in the disabled riding ring in Central Park   This is a new event for Marina Key Club, so your support is greatly needed and appreciated! :D
Fountain Valley Relay for Life What:  A 24-hour event of the American Cancer Society in honor of cancer victims  Where:  Fountain Valley High School When:  Saturday, June 5 th  at 9:00 AM to Sunday, June 6 th  at 9:00 AM Sign up online under “Division 4 West” on www.relayforlife.org/fountainvalleyca This event is a great way to meet other Key Clubbers in our division while earning lots of service hours!
Fountain Valley Summerfest June 11 th -13 th , time to be announced To be held at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center & Sports Park at Brookhurst and Heil We will be part of the clean-up crew  and possibly selling tickets (more info to come later)
Division 4 West Banquet! Themed an “Ohana Celebration” Fountain Valley Recreation Center Banquet: 6:30-8:00pm; Dance: 8-11pm Hawaiian food will be served as awards are presented and talent acts are performed Tell Alice if you would like to be on the presale list (price to be announced)
Beach Clean-Up! •  Sunday, June 20 th •  We will be meeting at the pier and picking up trash for roughly  2 hours •  This event is open to  all Marina students,  so make sure to invite friends for a good time at the beach, whether or not they are members!
