This document summarizes the Feminist Climate Action in West Africa (FCA-WA) program. The program aims to strengthen the adaptive capacity of women and youth in coastal and island regions of Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal and Togo to address climate change. It will directly benefit 48,964 people, of which 81.5% are women and 18.5% are men. The program focuses on climate-resilient agricultural practices, mangrove reforestation, and solar equipment to restore degraded lands and biodiversity. It employs a gender and social inclusion approach including feminist climate justice, local knowledge development, and women's economic empowerment.
