de Triomphe by public transport for 6am tomorrow morning
• Every team member should start from their main place of residence
• Your can use bicycle, walking, bus, air or train and short taxi rides only

4. In the planning challenge
• Did you remember to reschedule your plans?
• Did you ask how long we were going to be away for?
• Did you think to pack any food or clothes?
• Did you bring a passport?
• Did you ask about our ultimate destination?
• Have you thought about the end of this module yet????
• Do you know where you are going?

5. 5
Download the Social Venture
Canvas in Journal E and read it.
There are questions in it that are
not covered in the 17 Tasks.
When are you going to tackle
them?
6. The next 4 weeks
• Project planning, diaries
• Designing and testing a standard
whole class survey
• Designing and testing interviews
• Practicing empathy maps (or not if
the schedule slips)
• A packed schedule!! Are you busy
already? Do you have MORE time?
6
7. Why ‘project plan’?
• More than 2-3 people involved
• Multiple deadlines
• Resources out of your control
• More than one project happening at the same time
• Disagreement about what is important within a group
• Tight deadlines
• High expectations from person tasking the job
7
9. ‘Projectise’ your life
• If your studies, work, domestic
chores and social life were
separate projects, how would
you organise that into 100 hours
(excluding rest) each week?
• You have 10 hours of FDN16 to
include, where do they fit?
• Find the Module Specifications
from your HD modules, and find
the amount of weekly hours self
study required. Add them in too.
• On the second form, reschedule
your working week to fit in the
whole work expectations
9
10. In your tutorial: do Task B5
• Download the ‘My Module Planner’ spreadsheet
• There are two sheets ‘My 100 hours’ and ‘My 2019-20 Planner’
• For ‘My 100 Hours’:
• add in how you currently use your working week, and how you intend to change your working week to fit in.
• For ‘My 2019-20 Planner’:
• This is based on the same scheme of work format that we use in FDN016
• In columns G, H, H etc change the titles to your HD modules, and one for personal events
• Add in the deadlines for ALL your home degree modules, and any personal events that are planned
• Break down your HD assignments into manageable chunks or Tasks, like we have done in FDN016, that lead
up to each deadline, so you are not cramming at the last minute
• Each cell now represents a WEEK, rather than an hour. Block out by colouring the cell and writing in what your
MAIN FOCUS will be during that week in each of the columns for each of the modules
• Think about balancing the amount of work (tasks) you have in each of the rows
• You can show screen shots of how you are implementing this planning into your own electronic or
paper diary
