1. Event information Presented by: Fathers Rock, Inc. in conjunction with Love Your Neighbor (LYN) Sunday, June 20, 2010 Federal Hill Park Baltimore, Maryland
2. Dear Prospective Participants: We invite you to participate in what is sure to be a well sought after annual event that will have a life changing impact on our community. We would greatly appreciate your support by sponsoring the 1st Annual Father’s Day Festival. Please, join us as we honor, appreciate and celebrate fathers while supporting those that work hard to improve our communities every day. This event will be filled with information, entertainment, food, art, games, and special exhibits in recognition of great fathers. Prior to the 1960’s, the impact of the role of a father in raising children had been under-researched, underestimated, and underappreciated. In light of the findings of research since that time period, our government has increased its interest and support to researchers regarding this issue. As the staggering statistics climb with miniscule support for change, Fathers Rock was formed. This event is presented by Fathers Rock, the premier non profit organization dedicated to recognizing fathers and father figures who have a strong positive impact on their families and communities. Our mission is to educate, encourage, and support fathers in order to combat the staggering negative statistics of mental and physical health problems that are directly connected to children's development. Love Your Neighbors Ministries (LYN) is the fiscal sponsor for this event. LYN’s mission is to become a safe haven and a spiritual community to whom ever desires to grow spiritually and naturally. LYN is a 501(c)(3) organization. In the following pages of this information packet you will find detailed information about the Festival and how you can receive the maximum benefits and exposure to support your organization and community. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at the phone number or e-mail address below.
