My role as Shift Operator involves monitor and control Dukhan Sewage Treatment Plant, Operational equipment’s such
as Upstream / Downstream equipment’s such as Air Compressor, Blowers, Pumps, Aerators and Associated Pumping
Stations through SCADA & PLC enabled Operation in effective and safe manner. Examples of recent assignments
include:
 Operate and Maintain existing STP Plant Downstream / Upstream equipment's smoothly without any
interruption in a Safe and efficient manner to minimize maintenance cost.
 Monitor Contractors for handed over Equipment’s in STP-Operation for any abnormalities or malfunctions
(until warranty period). If required, inform Sr. Operation Engineer, for corrective actions.
 Produce Treated Sewage Effluent Quality as per MOE Standard and supply to required Irrigation locations.

2.  Regular Monitor of Incoming Sewer, for Contaminations like Waste Oil, Diesel and advice Sr. Operator for any
actions required.
 Review Lab-reports, to maintain the quality of Treated water as per MOE, and advise of Sr. Operation
Engineer to comply TSE Water requirement (i.e., Township & Other locations for Irrigation and landscaping
purpose).
 Participate & Witness Commissioning Activities.
Safety related Assignments:
 Responsible to carry out the Technical services in a safe manner, avoiding risk or danger for company
personnel’s and maintaining company’s assets.
 Implement and Control Job Safety Procedure, during all type of work activities as per Qatar Petroleum HSE
procedure.
 Manage and control all Work Permits to carry out task and assignment inside the plant.
 Responsible as Permit controller for all ongoing Projects and their contractors.
