This document discusses overclocking computer chips for increased performance and profit. It outlines an agenda to cover computer architecture fundamentals, silicon devices and overclocking challenges. It then describes a project called "vftweak" which uses programmable oscillators and digital pots to dynamically overclock chips based on temperature readings, in an effort to push performance while avoiding overheating. Untested design files for a circuit board to implement this concept are provided online for hackers to experiment with.
