If you’re considering applying to the Social Foundations of Education M.S. prorgam,
a central feature of our students is being curious and open to new and challenging
ideas.
Many of our master’s students use this program to prepare to continue their
doctoral studies in Social Foundations and related fields, like sociology of education,
history of education and philosophy of education.
This master’s program is interdisciplinary and connects key fields, like gender, race,
class, popular culture, and socio-economic status to investigate anthropological,
historical, sociological and philosophical inquiry.
