Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

5. Assembly
I. Aileron Servo Installation
• Secure an 18-inch servo
extension to the aileron servo.
Use a piece of string and a
weight to lead the extension
through the wing.
• Secure the servo firmly.
• Cut off the covering on the
slot.
• Put some epoxy glue on
the control horn.
• Insert the control horn
into the slot.
• There are two pieces of
epoxy plate per set.
• Use the radio to adjust the
servo centering and then mount
the arms parallel to the hinge
line.
• Install the large servo arm.
• Install two ball ends with the linkage rod.Attach the ball end to the horn and arm with the
setscrew.
• Rotating the linkage rod to center the aileron and keep the servo arm parallel to the hinge line.
• Notice: You can using a inboard servo or two servos to control the aileron. 22kg/cm torque or
greater should be used on the aileron. When two servos are used, the length of these two control horn
must be same(measure from the axes of hinges),and the length of servo arms must be the same too.
05
6. • Install the elevator servo into the stablizer. Make sure to pull
the servo lead through the opening toward the leading edge before
installing the servo.
• Install the control horn by following the same method
with aileron.
• Install the large servo arm onto elevator servo. Use the radio system to center the servo
beforehand.
• Assembly the linkage system, Adjust the linkage rod to center the elevator and keep the
servo arm perpendicular to the linkage rod.
• Before start hinging, you need to prepare: Hinges,30-minute epoxy, Toothpicks.
• Apply epoxy into the leading edge hinge holes of the rudder.
• Apply epoxy an one side of the hinges.
• Insert them into the holes.
II. Elevator Servo Installation
III. Rudder and Rudder Servo Installation
06
7. • Cut off the covering on the slot.
• Put some epoxy glue on the center of control horn(dual).
• Push the control horn through the slot, Ensure the rudder is on the center of control horn.
• Apply epoxy into the hinge holes of the vertical stab.
• Apply epoxy to the other
side of the hinges. Install the
control surfaces.
Tail Wheel Installation
• Center the tail wheel bracket on the mounting block.
• Mark the mountinglocations for the large seif-tapping screws.
• Drill three small pilot holes for the wood screws.
• Use three seif-tapping screws to secure the tail wheel bracket
in place.
• Install shaft bushing and M8 nut. Fix the collar onto the tail landing gear, slide the landing gear
through the shaft bushing. Install the steering post clamp, tighten the screw firmly.
07
8. • Install the rudder servo. Use
the radio system to center the
servo. And then install the
large arm onto the rudder
servo.
• Thread the cable connecter halfway into the ball end.
• Cut the cable into two equal pieces. Prepare one end of the
pull-pull cable by using the cable, threaded cable end and crimp.
The cable passec through the crimp, through the cable connecter
end, then back through the crimp the second time. Pull the excess
cable tight and use a crimping tool to complete the job.
• Attach the ball end to the horn with the setscrew.
• Pass the cable into the fuselage through the slot.
• Drill a hole for the ball end
and install it with glue.
• Let the control wire through
the holes of ball end and landing
gear connector.
• Tighten the screw to secure
the control wire. Install the
wheel with two wheel collars,
ensure that the wheel rolls
freely.
Rudder Servo Instllation
08
9. • Attach the ball end to the horn with the setscrew.
• Slide a crimp onto the cable, connect the cable and cable connecter like other end, but do not use
the crimping tool, let the crimp move freely.
• Repeat these steps to install the second rudder cable.
• Adjust the position of the connecter end an the cable.
• Use a crimping tool to fix the crimp and cable.
• Rotate the connecter to tension the cables, so that there is no free movement of the rudder.
IV. Landing Gear Installation
• Attach the axle for the main
landing gear firmly with the
locknut.
• Install a wheel collar.
• Insert the wheel axle through the center hole of the wheel.
• Install outboard wheel collar.
• Fix the wheel pant with two screws.
• When the wheel and wheel pant are installed completely, you can adjust these two wheel collars to
let the wheel be in the center of the wheel pant.
• Tighten the wheel collars firmly and ensure that the wheel rolls freely.
09
10. • Use the bolts and nuts to mount the engine onto firewall.
Before you install the engine, you need to measure the length of
engine and cowling(Let the propeller drive washer come out l Omm
from the front of cowling),In order to decide how many washer
must be used .("thread lock"must be used.)
• Fix the ignition with nylon strips.
Insert the main landing gear into the slot, an the bottom of the fuselage.
• Fasten the landing gear with the screws. Consider using "thread lock" an the screws to keep them
from vibrating during flight.
V. Engine Installation
• There are two pieces of plywood templates supplied, one for 3W 85cc gasoline engine, the other
one for DA 85cc engine. Select the template for your engine, follow the holes to drill the mounting
holes. Note: the vertical centerline is offset to the right side of center as viewed from the front due to
the built-in right-thrust. These will be necessary no matter what engine you choose to install.
• You can follow the hole to cut the firewall, which is to allow a space for carburetor.
10
11. • Attach the fuel line from the fuel tank to the
carburetor.Make sure the line is from the clunk and not the vent
line.
• Install the throttle servo and the linkage system.
• Make the necessary cutouts to clear the engine components in the cowling. Make a opening, which
is necessary to allow cooling air to pass through the cowling to prevent overheating of the engine.
• Fix the cowling by using the screws and rubber washers.
• Install a propeller and spinner.
• The propeller must be according to the suggestions from the
engine manufacturer.
• The spinner is 4inch size. (included)
• If you using a canister or turned pipe, you need to install the fiberglass hatch.
• Cut out the covering, use the iron to fix the covering edges.
• Glue the plywood and the fiberglass hatch, finishing the fiberglass hatch.
11
12. • Secure a servo extension to the elevator servo lead. Use the
servo extension clamp to ensure the connecting of extension and
lead is safe.
• Pass the extension into the fuselage ,then slide the stabilizer
tube into fuselage and both stabilizer halves.
• Use two screws and rubber washers to secure the position of
the stabilizer.
• Use a hobby knife to remove the plywood and covering from the holes in the sides of the fuselage
for two switches.Mount the receiver and ignition switchs into these holes.
• Wrap the receiver battery and receiver in foam. Attach the receiver to the battery tray by using
velcro straps to secure it. Attach the battery onto the plate, which is behind the fuel tank.
VI. Stabilizer Installation
VII. Radio Installation
VIII. Canopy and Hatch Assembly
• Drill 1.2mm holes for the canopy screws. Use the seif-tapping screws to secure the canopy.
• Caution! CA will fog the canopy, so do not use CA to install canopy.
12
13. Adjust the aircraft and make sure
both of the sides are symmetric. Like the
diagram shows.
Measure the CG from the leading
edge of wing root rib. Adjust the battery
pack location. The CG position should be
at 25-30% MAC (Mean Airfoil Chord).
This recommended balance point is for
your first flights. The CG can be adjusted
around later to fit your personal flying
style.
