 Why did we Macsteel decide to Outsource our Oracle Environment
 Insufficient internal resources to manage the system – we needed 24 x 7
support and only had 1 DBA. Oracle could provide DBA and other
technical and functional resources for the project.
 Massive capital investment was required to complete the rollout. Our
Servers and Storage were undersized when purchased at project
commencement.
 Oracle Cloud Hosting Fees were cost competitive – predictable monthly
costs.
 Access to Oracle Support staff to troubleshoot and resolve problems
priority issues very quickly.
