This document provides guidance on writing an advice leaflet for new year 7 students. It discusses learning outcomes which are to know three types of sentences to use in advice, understand how to write advice, and be able to write the text of an advice leaflet. It provides examples of simple, compound and complex sentences as well as use of second person and sequential connectives. The document guides the reader in developing their own advice leaflet.

• Sequential connectives- ‘First, ‘Secondly’.
