in his thighs while reporting.

The reporters of Express Multan are very much
quick and clever. Shahdat Hussain, the present
Bureau Chief of Sama Multan, was senior
reporter of Express News Multan.

• The Daily Express founded on 3 September,
1998, is one of Pakistan’s most widely
circulated Urdu-language newspapers
• It is published simultaneously from Islamabad,
Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan,
Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Rawalpindi,
Rahim Yar Khan and Sukkar. It claims to have a
24% circulation share.

overall it was started from August 2002.
• Its main office is located in Karachi but Daily
Express Multan is directly connected to
Lahore due to the reader’s news taste
because there is a difference in Lahore and

its office in Rahim Yar Khan but Daily Express
has its separate edition from Rahim Yar Khan.
• Daily Express Multan covers the area of
Multan division, Dera Ghazi Khan and only
Bahawalpur in Bahawalpur division.

• They are not bound to publish Handout, Press
note or Press release etc as it is.
• There is no hard and fast formula about the
policy of the newspaper. Anti-government
stances would have been observed usually.

27. Time
• Usually 2 – 2:30 a.m. printing is started and
the news before 2 o’clock early in the morning
can be included in the morning newspaper.
• And before the sun rise , they are bound to
deliver the newspapers to the distributors.

Express Media Group is well-known media
organization of our country. It always follow
quality reporting like (on the incident of Karachi
Airport attack). And similar type of reporting can
be seen in Daily Express Multan. If it continues
to report the events with objective approach
then sooner or later it will be the largest
circulated /broadcast media newspaper/channel
of the country.
