People moving out of their native place and settling elsewhere due to certain compulsions become diaspora. At present, the term diaspora is used for describing any group of dispersed population. A diaspora undergoes cultural and economic challenges in a receiving society until a complete assimilation takes place or the collective memory of the original identity decomposes. This is a review paper on the choice of methodology adopted for studying negotiations by a diaspora of such challenges in the relevant international scholarship. The literature review suggests that methodological triangulation is appropriate for this kind of a study.

development of the segmented embryos. Specialized transcription factors (mostly zinc fingers)
are coded by gap genes which directly control the expression of set of genes (the pair rule genes)

There is a cascade of transcription factors, which establish the segemented body pattern of
drosophila. This starts during early development stage, wherein, the maternal gene products gets
localized at the polar ends of the egg. Zygotic segmentation genes has the information for
positioning of transcription factors. This regulatory hierarchy is led by gap gene. Along the
longitudinal axis, expression of gap genes occurs in preblastoderm. Its discrete expression
pattern defines specific and overlapping sets of segment primordia. The transcription factors
encoded by gap genes form concentration gradients which are overlapping in nature, and the
protein gradients thus formed provide cues to form repeated patterns. Thus the pattern of
segments from blastoderm embryo are copied. Therefore, basically it is the maternal
transcription factors which regulate the region-specific expression of zygotic transcription
factors. The transcription factors encoded by gap genes regulate the expression of pair-rule genes
and homeotic genes.
Thus, it is the localized gene expression of gap gene which ultimately leads to the formation of
the periodic pattern; mechanism known as the pair-rule gene expression. Studies of gap gene
expression has demonstrated that from drosophila blastoderm, organisms with similar phenotype
can be developed, despite of varitions occurring in the genotype, the phenomenon known as
canalization..

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

- 1. Explain the concept of diaspora and distinguish between voluntary and involuntary diaspora? Discuss the dynamics of diaspora and show the extent to which diaspora is a global phenomenon? Solution The concept of Diaspora: This phenomenon explains dispersed population scattered from their specific homelands but they maintain their cultural aspects in the country where they migrated. Diaspora is going to illustrate about the people themselves or their previous ancestors & the people who have been living are going to retain their cultural aspects with “memories/myths” about their specific homeland. The voluntary migration of population from their homeland where they are not forced to migrate known as “voluntary Diaspora” where, “you will find no force to migrate”. The involuntary migration of population from their homeland where they are forced to migrate known as “involuntary Diaspora (refugees migrate)” where, “you will find force to migrate” (mainly religious persecutions). According to Wilbur Zelinsky, the dynamics of Diaspora is mainly due to immigrants & emigrants and the extent to which Diaspora is a global phenomenon is explained mainly by rural and urban migration. These dynamics can be explained by data that collected & correlates to extent of migration rates specifically within a country over a period.
