1. My Teaching Experience Essay
When I first come to Saint Cloud High School, I was uncertain of how I would fit into the world
of education as a teacher, in fact, this was my first teaching practice. After completing a few
observations, I changed my view and recognized my teaching abilities. I was able to learn many
different things that will be helpful to me when I become a certified teacher someday. Although I
could face many possible challenges in the classroom, I have many of the strengths it takes to be
a good teacher. There were many times during this field training that gave me a broad idea of how
the ordinary life of a teacher would go. Similarly, I got a profound sense of how the classroom
environment is for most instructors. In general, I believe this was a pleasant experience for me, and
I learned a lot in such a brief period.
The educational unit I executed has an element of my instruction beliefs that students should connect
and relate theme content to real life situations inside and outside the teaching space. Therefore,
during my teaching experience, I feel compromise and responsible for meeting my students' needs
and that is why I included many visuals aids and plenty of flexible activities. Hence, this unit
involved a mixture of student and teacher–centered strategies such as direct instruction, drill and
practice of the unit vocabulary, lectures, dialogues, question and answer sessions, discussions with
exchanges of opinions and perspectives, discovery learning events and presentations

2. Essay about My Work Experience
My Work Experience
I went on work experience for a week in June at Natwest Bank in Bakewell. Natwest is part of a
larger organisation called the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. The Royal Bank of Scotland bought
Natwest in March 2000 for ВЈ21 billion which was the biggest take–over in British banking history.
Natwest is a national company and very well known so I felt quite privileged to work for them.
Also the Bakewell branch was of a very high standard of service from the checks they get every
month as I was shown the data of this when I went to visit them. From working in a banking
environment I learnt a lot about how banking works and what goes on behind closed doors of the
public, which was...show more content...
I worked with many different people, such as the manager, cashier, client interviewer and the
receptionist. The people I worked with were very helpful and kind to me helping me in every way
they could. The manager was especially kind to me and made me feel welcome and part of the bank
as soon as I arrived.
I think a made a helpful contribution to the bank and always did what I was asked to do without
any hesitation and no complaints. I enjoyed doing every task I was set and especially when I was
set to audit the bank's appearance over the week I was there, by filling in the "Topbox Service" in.
It made me feel as if I was helping the bank and that they trusted me to give me this responsibility. I
learnt about how a bank runs and learnt many new skills at me placement and these were:
В· How to use a photocopier
В· How to use a fax machine
В· How to cashier
В· How to use the Natwest computer system
В· What accounts could be given to people
В· How the alarms works
В· How to fill in a stationary and printed order form
В· How to key in Cash exchange forms into the Natwest computer
В· How to fill the ATM up
В· How to count and bag
4. Essay on Writing Experience
My Writing Experiences My experiences in writing have been minimal. I have only learned the
basics of writing, like putting together sentences, forming paragraphs with sentences, and things
like that. Since I have been taking college English, I can tell my writing has improved a lot. In the
future, I hope to be able to improve tremendously at writing essays, paragraphs, research papers,
documents, and stories so that I have very little to no errors with drafting and final products. I
predict I will be a well rounded writer when I graduate from college. Writing in the past started in
kindergarten. My teacher taught me how to write my name over and over until I could write it with
no errors. All through elementary my teachers taught me...show more content...
I need to learn to quit thinking as much on what I want to write about and how to write about a topic
and just starting jotting stuff down in outline form as it comes to mind. Run–ons and fragments I
need to be able to spot and fix right away or I really need to not have any in my papers at all. My
goals are to write papers and not have to reassure myself that maybe I need to do more research or
have more data or even have to rethink my whole topic over. I would love to have the knowledge
to be a tutor someday and teach other people how to properly write papers, paragraphs, essays,
and maybe even books. To have excellent skills in writing will definitely be a great advantage in
my nursing profession. In nursing, I will have to do lots of charting on my patients. I will have to
do health presentations on various subjects such as exercising, how our society eats, and sex
education if I want to be a course instructor. Researching information on all of those topics I will
have to make sure I do an excellent job on and collect accurate information and statistics so that I
can compare to other sources. Dictating to the doctor means that I will need to write properly so
that he understands what I am saying. Other nurses will have to be able to understand what I am
talking about by my writing skills when doing shift changes. I will have to be very precise so that
other nurses will not

5. My Life Experience Essay
As I look back on the unforgettable week I had during the Habitat 62 trip, I can honestly say that
the trip changed the way I looked at college and West Virginia University overall. My favorite parts
of the trip were of course helping others who are less fortunate than myself and the adventures, but
mainly the "class" that was held every night. I joined the adventure trip believing I was just going to
help build a house and have fun rock climbing, exploring, and white–water rafting. I slowly realized
that I would learn so much more. Adventure West Virginiataught me life–long lessons that could
help save not only my life one day, but maybe even one of my best friends or a random stranger I
had never met before. I believed, like most high school students and people in general around the
world, that at West Virginia UniversityI was going to find a party in every direction I looked with
many of my own peers drinking alcohol. The perspective view I had before the trip and after were
completely opposite. I found out on the trip that I can find parties if I feel the need to, but overall
there are plenty of activities to do besides partying and drinking. I originally thought that I was
going to struggle heavily to write the amount advised for the journal entries at the end of every day.
On my way home from adventure, I had one of those moments were out of nowhere there is an
overwhelming sensation or feeling that you forgot something. I had forgot my journal in the

6. My Experience In My Life
My life, or perhaps in the manner that I perceive it, has been overwhelmingly filled with enlightening
and repressive circumstances that could have been averted, but all in all, makes up one's destiny.
These events intricately tailored me into a young man that grew conscientious of the detrimental
behavior of "acting before thinking" and into the realm of "thinking before acting". What I would
soon come to understand was that through sheer patience, and trial–and–error it instilled within me
new insights to learn from and that the most triumphant moments in my life began at the crossroads
of unknowingness, a decision to stay in mediocrity, or the pursuit towards personal greatness– thus
the decision had to be met.
In the fall season of 2006, I was a student at Saint John Vianney, a relatively small parochial school.
During that time period, I was an immensely nervous 6th grader that was forced to immerse himself
into a Roman Catholic private school that had me sharply at odds with what I had experienced from
schooling in the Folsom Cordova Unified public–school district (Kindergarten to 5th grade). It's
important to know that I was sent here by my parents as a way of disciplining me due to, in their
opinion, abhorrent behavior that medically could have stemmed from ADD, but perhaps I was just
restless and explorative.
The very first moment I shared with another soul was by the connective link of vision with a female
student, by the name of Scarlett. This young girl (of

Cultural Diversity Assignment I didn't know where I should go to visit for my culture experience

took a first bite of potatoes and it tasted so sour. I didn't like much but I didn't get bother by it. As
soon as I took the first bite of my steak nuggets, all the sour potatoes thoughts were disappeared

8. For me, learning a language is a complicated process. It is different from learning other subjects. It
involves a lot of practices and follow up. When I talk about my personal experience, I would say
that I have a rich experience in learning English as a second language. English was taught to me for
ten years starting from grade seven till graduation from university. After graduation, I felt that I
should improve my language skills. Therefore, I did a lot of efforts personally to increase my
fluency. Until now I still learn the language. Indeed, learning a language takes a lifetime.
I started learning English as a second language when I was in first intermediate. I still remember my
first classes and my first teachers. I remember that my teachers changed frequently in the first year
but all of them have much in common. All of them used grammar translation method. They used to
write bilingual lists of words on board, then we, as students, were asked to copy these lists and
memorize them by heart. All teaching concentrated on reading and writing skills, but there were no
activities concentrating on speaking or listening. In addition, grammar rules were taught in that stage
of learning the language as mathematics equations, and we were asked to memorize the rules as we

the appropriateness of using certain vocabulary. English language entails high sense of using the

9. My Reflection On My Experience In My Class
My favorite subject throughout my years of school has always been English; I found it to be
where I put most of my effort and creativity in my writing. I didn't want to overthink the writing
skills I had already because I was told college writing was a "different ball game", so I entered the
beginning of my English101 course expecting the unexpected. I made sure to keep the goals I
wanted to achieve this semester always in mind; learn new writing techniques, strengthen my
sentence mechanic/grammar skills, become a flexible writer, and to enhance my critical thinking
skills. Throughout this semester I witness my growth as a student and my eager and dedication to
improving my skills in this course.
I tested out different approaches that benefited me the most when it came to my writing. In the
beginning, I avoided creating an outline for my essay because I viewed it as being extra work; but
as my professor taught me the correct way of drafting an outline and the details to include, I
found myself relying on the outline while composing my essay. I was able to keep track of
important details to include and create a fluent transition all throughout my essay. One habit that I
always kept when generating my ideas was to write down any thought I had randomly containing
to my essay; doing this kept all my ideas fresh in my mind. After completing my first two essays I
realized what my writing weaknesses were I knew I needed assistance. I took advantage of my
college Writing Center and got help for my final essays, taking this approach improved the quality
of my essays and taught me new ways to avoid my common writing mistakes.
Looking back at final essay grades and my professor comments, my writing skills have advanced
throughout this semester. My biggest strength was my ability to use supporting details to verify my
thesis and integrating the information fluently, "your overall coherence – transitions, emphasis, and
introduction of the outside sources is great" my professor comment on Essay 3. Conducting a
conclusion is also a strength I've advanced in my writing, summarizing the main idea of my essay
and using appeals to create a strong finish. I noticed that my weakness is my sentence mechanics and
grammar; in the

Memorable Moments
First, my memorable and valuable experience in college has allowed me the chance to be able to
sharpen my study skills in my chosen field. There have been opportunities for me to learn and
improve my skills through my time in college, which I am very thankful and happy about. For
example, at my school, in the Writing Center, I have learned some writing tips that I didn't even
know existed, and had this not been a part of my experience I would still be unaware. Because of
this, despite what I was thinking, I still had quite a bit to learn; but this has given me the chance
to improve my craft more through attending school, as well as give me a lot more confidence in
the area that I plan to study towards. And as a result, some day I will have a rewarding career from

in different parts of the world, such as worshipping multiple deities, reincarnation, and meditation,
has been memorable to me because of its value, and all the misconceptions that are cleared up now

from it that still exist today. Getting my drivers' license was an intense feeling that I will never

love was from the birth of my drivers' license. Such a simple piece of paper opened up such a
broad area of learning for me; it was of much amazement to me. Receiving my drivers' license was
the best day of my life. It will be remembered forever because of the feelings, experience and new
beginnings that it gave me. Today, I still hold my interest in the automobile but the thrill of

I love learning in school. But sadly, I ended up having a rough time at the end of my senior year. I
moved to Oklahoma from Illinois before I finished the last year of high school, and after I move it
was hard to get adjusted to a new school. I hope you enjoy my essay!
Let's start off with the pleasant experience I had in my past education, health careers. I was really
good in this class. Health careers was a class that taught me about diseases, CPR, and much more.
We had many projects and activities. One of the projects I remember I did and felt so proud of. It
was the kidney I sculpted. My teacher gave me an A+ for putting a lot of effort into it. My
teacher loved it to the part she asked me if she can keep it as a reference for future students. It
made me really happy and of course, I said yes, what an honor for me that she is going to use my
work as a good example for future students.
My unpleasant experience was a history class. I'm not really a history person, but I worked so
hard to pass the class. I had a lot of problems going in front of my class and presenting the projects
the teachers assigned to us during class. I am really a shy person, and when I am in front of many
people I get really stressed out and I start to mess up on words and talk differently. But thanks to
my husband he was able to help me raise my confidence and break this habit, now I can to hold a
conversation with people without stressing out. I ended up passing the class with a C, I worked so

14. The Importance Of Experience Learning
Is school the only place where one can experience learning? While knowledge can be gained in
school, often we also gain knowledge through our experiences. Which help us improve our skills
and open our eyes to new ideas and perspectives. Notably, real life experiences are just as valuable
as education. Personally, I have been able to experience this first hand by; being able to learn a new
culture at young age, household responsibilities , and participate in sports.
First of, moving to a foreign country might sound like a big adventure or a great start. One of the
things that may happen when going to a new place (even on vacation) is finding yourself
comparing everything to how it is back home. Comparing food, quality of life, weather, people's
habits, beliefs, and everything between. Subsequently, moving to a foreign country may not be as
easy for some people, and it could be as normal for others. For me it wasn't easy, at the age of 5 I
was moving from El Salvador to the United states. With my dad being a diplomat we have to move
a lot. The U.S. has a completely different culture, language, climate, overall a completely diverse
lifestyle and environment. I felt like a complete stranger. In particular, language barrier was one of
the hardest part in this case. Having to watch my mom struggle to communicate with people when
she needed help or anything, was hard because not everyone was nice enough to try and understand
her. My mom, my siblings, and I were at the mall when my

There are places that are probably the opposite of your life. Like me and my cousins house. The
craziness of my house can make break my will, which I try to keep intact. So traveling to my
cousins house is a big get away for me. Going there is like me going to my second home(or third,
since I have some weird relationship with some other place). And also I enjoy traveling, so its a

When we arrived, I ran to the entrance, and took a look at that big globe that was there, and I was
awestruck. I was excited and enjoyed my time there. When we were done, the sun was setting,
and I was tired. We almost weren't able to go to the park because I got sick. We came there for
another summer, and we went to Yosemite. There were mountains and trees all around. We
stopped at a river and I was took some pictures of other relatives that came. We didn't see any

As time went on I kept on reading third grader books and I would never forget the book that
changed my views on writing. ''Charlotte's Web' was the book that heightened my interests overall.
The book opened my eyes to a different way of writing and imagery. It was the first time I actually
read the book without putting it down and end up rereading it again because it was that good at
the time. It also was a book that I found on my own so when I presented the book to Mrs. Jones
she was pleasantly surprised at my choice in books and my level of understanding for a first
grader. She told me that reading a book would make me smarter and writing will make me clever.
Now that I am an adult I definitely see how that comes into play in my own life. I'm actively into
the arts so reading and writing has played a major part in my life. I'm constantly creating and
writing songs and turning simple words that mean nothing into poetry that can mean everything
to someone. Being able to read and write is very beneficial to everyday life because we use it to
communicate, work, travel and etc. Some people may not know the importance of it because most

Life is full of learning and it is mostly due to our daily life experiences. These experiences are
mostly based on our surrounding environment from where we learn new things every day. But all
these experiences are a result of our keen observations out of daily routines. It is very important to
note that life also provides us with some chances to experience new people or places that are indeed
out of the ordinary. That is thetime we indeed learn new and unique things, hence these are unique
experiences of our life which are remembered by us throughout our life span. I have visited USA

happy and expecting many more things and unique experience coming my way and making me
