Exorbitant pry minister 01
1. Exorbitant Pry Minister!
An open letter to Viktor Orbán, PM of Hungary - Prologue
You don’t know me because you live extremely far away from where I live. I
live in a very small country called Hungary and I’m a citizen who cares about
the country.
Actually, I’m one of the 8 million people you sent some letters to some time
ago and now it is high time I replied. Here I represent only myself although
about half the population could have written this letter with the same
content.
Please don’t misread me. I know it quite well that you live in Hungary, too
but Hungary is a 3D country. The distance between us is not in longitude or
latitude but in altitude. You created and favour a society where the political
upper-class can earn 50 to 100 times more than the sums you suggest we
should live on.
You live so high up, well above the clouds, and I live so deep down, really at
the bottom-level of society that the best way for me to have my voice heard
is an open letter like this.
’Why now?’ you may as well ask. Simply because today you went beyond a
limit and totally ruined our embrionic democracy, and you did this inspite of
the warning messages from the Opposition, from different Institutes, from
the High Brass of the Council of Europe, and from the US.
Your constitutional amendments can rightly be called The Orbán Decrees
(TM), your 21st Century mutation of the Anti-Hungarian Benes Decrees dated
1945. There are, as a matter of course, marked differences between the two.
For one, you are Hungarian and Benes was Czechoslovak. For another, The
Benes Decrees hit the Hungarian minority in the post-war Czechoslovalia and
The Orbán Decrees hit some 80 % of the population of Hungary.
The sole aim of this open letter is cleansing, i. e. freeing myself from the
unwelcome negative stress I have collected over the past three years or so.
The main aim is really my writing and, frankly, I don’t care whether you read
it or not.
2. I’m going to write this open letter in more parts, and this is only the Prologue.
Next time round, I want to tell you how the different roles you play are quite
comparable to the famous – infamous Caligula.
