The biggest trend shaping the future of work over the next 10-15 years will be "everywhere ergonomics", according to Professor Alan Hedge. As technology becomes embedded in our environment and work becomes untethered from traditional locations, ergonomic design will need to optimize people's interactions with technology everywhere. Ergonomics considers how to improve performance, comfort, health and well-being through the design of technology and work environments.
