The results of the project
Lesson Learnt Collecting Case Studies Our experience with Local Authority groups was a steep learning curve. Developing local relationships and building trust. Young People Keeping a group of young people who are geographically spread motivated. Stories of young people involved as interesting (if not more so) than the stories they were reporting on. Editing young people’s words to make them more palatable or suitable for an adult audience. Building in time for ‘practice’ before end product is required – the first pieces written had to be used due to time frames.
