2. Planning and Ideas
• In our induction assignment my group I and came up with individual scripts. We
later chose a single script as a group to work on and then decided on the camera
shots we needed for the short film. We also decided on the setting of the video.
We picked camera shots like the wide shot and shot reverse shot.

3. Research
Before shooting the film we had to research on a number of factors like what’s usually
found in a scene, how the dialogue is carried out and how the camera moves
around.
4. Non Diegetic Sound
• This is sound that is created in a studio and is later added to a film. It’s
normally used to create a dramatic effect. Examples would be the voice of
God, narration SFX (gun shots/explosions)
5. Editing and Use of equipment
Basically editing is the process of selecting and preparing visual, audio, written and
film to convey information. As a group we used final edit pro to edit our film.
