On the left is my
preliminary task front

my final front cover that I
produced for my Indie-
Pop music magazine. As
you can see it shows how
much I’ve come and
improve through the
process of creating my
front cover showing that I
have learnt from using
the right shading of
colour to the overall look
of my music magazine
here are the main
improvements and skills I
have learnt:
• How to lay out m music
magazine.
• Using the right colour
shading.
• Right camera angles/
shots.
• Mise-en-scene so that
my models look like a
realistic band.

contents page for my Indie-Pop
music magazine. One of the
best skills I learnt to do properly
is the anchorage on the images
that I used in my contents page
so that they stand out better
and are easier for the audience
and readers to read standing
out more, here is a variety of
different skills and techniques
that I have developed and
learnt throughout creating my
contents page:
• Change the brightness in the
background for my main
image.
• Camera skills.
• Colour scheme and
consistency to magazine.
• A lot for the magazine to talk
about.
4. How do you feel about the journey you’ve
made from looking back at your preliminary
task compared to your main magazine?
I feel that I have came a magnificent way and have improved
dramatically completely challenges that I never thought I
could like editing on photo shop, it’s been a lot harder than I
first thought it would be.
From my friends reactions from looking at me developing my
preliminary task and then my final music magazine they have
all been so supportive in saying how much I have improved by
and how well my magazine now looks and how well it’s suit the
purpose.
Overall I am so happy that I chose AS media as it has taught
be to go out of my comfort zone and grasp everything I can
and learn as many new skills as I possibly can.
