Through the process of creating a thriller film, I learned to use several new technologies: I researched thrillers using Netflix and YouTube, and planned the project using Blogger, SurveyMonkey, and Prezi. While filming with a Lumix G2 camera, I encountered difficulties viewing clips but was able to solve the problems. During editing in Sony Vegas Pro 12, which was new software for me, I relied on Google and YouTube tutorials to learn how to use it. Finally, I plan to exhibit the finished film on YouTube to share it widely. The project required learning to use various hardware, software, and online platforms, which provided a beneficial learning experience.

2. Introduction
• When making the thriller we had to use a lot of different technologies a you
could see from equipment list I had to use a lot of technology that I hadn’t
used before. But it was beneficial to make the highest quality of product I
could but using all the new technology we had some hiccups.

3. Planning and Research
• While planning and researching I used
different platforms of media to view
different thrillers like Netflix to watch the
different thrillers .Like Usual Suspects and
Prisoners andYouTube to look at the
opening of thrillers.
• I Used blogger to write down what I was
doing and get ideas down .
• I also used Survey Monkey to see research
how people view and how they feel about
thrillers andTwitter a social Network to
advertise this Survey. Also used Prezi to do
some of my evaluation questions

4. Filming
• While filming we used a Lumix G2 it was a
camera that I’m not familiar with at the start we
didn’t know how to view the clips we had record
but wee figured it out in the end.
• For the camera we used my micro SD which I
used for my phone and an adapter to store our
clips. While filming I used my Samsung s4 to
film behind the scene.
• We started by using a tripod but we decide
against as we felt like it limited our movement
so we just did it free hand for the majority of the
filming process

5. Post-Production
• While we were editing we initially
were going to use iMovie on Mac
to edit our film but the files which
our clips were formatted. So
instead we used SonyVegas Pro
12 on MyToshiba Satellite L850D.
Me and Darrell were new to the
software but we got used to it
quickly and when we had an
enquire we would simply just
google it and aYouTube clip
would show us how to do it.

6. Exhibition
• The best way to get my product
out there would be to post it on
YouTube this is great because
not only world the whole world
be able to view it I could also
share it to other social
networking site like Facebook
andTwitter.

7. Conclusion
• To conclude technology played a very big part of the product we produced if
out it we wouldn’t even have a product.We used a range of Hardware and
software some were harder to get a grip of than others. But all were very
useful.
