The document discusses the use of media technologies in the construction, research, planning and evaluation stages of a project. Adobe After Effects was used to add special effects like color correction, RGB splitting, and optical flares to a 5-minute movie. This allowed the raw footage to be edited to match the original idea. Sony Vegas Pro was used to assemble the raw footage and edited clips into a timeline to shape the final movie. It provided a simple interface for compiling the project. Both After Effects and Vegas Pro allowed the creator to produce a professional, advanced video.

2. ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS.
 Adobe After Effects was used to add almost all of the special
effects onto my 5 minute movie, these effects included; Colour
Correction, RGB split effects and Optical Flares. After Effects is a
complicated software, however once mastered, it can be used to
create complex, yet professional pieces of work.
 This enabled me to take the raw footage and edit it to mirror the
original idea that I brainstormed. Adobe after effects is used for
many professional films and moreover allowed me to create a
more advanced production.

3. The screen shot above shows the making of the TNP intro seen at
the end of our videos. The complexity of the software can be seen
through the variety of different layers included to make a simple
3d text intro. However this allowed me to create something very
creative from what originally started out as basic moving text, it
now included optical flares, smoke, lights, RGB split effect and
more.

4. SONY VEGAS PRO
 This editing software, was used to shape the movie. The
raw footage would be added onto the timeline,
cropped and cut down to the size it needed to be. Sony
Vegas is a simple software, easy to work out and useful
when creating a video as you simply create everything
on a well laid out timeline, then render it on a format of
your choice. This software was used at the heart of our
movie; Simple yet effective. Here’s an example of what

5. As said previously, the rendered clips from other software’s will
be put onto the timeline and arranged to look like this, here we
have an example of three clips; I have arranged them into the
order i want without causing any confusion or making the
timeline looking complicated. This professional software allowed
me to add other effects onto the clips as well, however most
effects were added in Adobe After Effects.
