It analyzes trailers for The Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity, Unknown, and Fido to inform the design of its own trailer. conventions followed include using institutional references and credits at the beginning and end, including relevant intertitles, employing a variety of shot types like medium shots and tracking shots to set the scene and build tension. Locations and a concluding running scene were also incorporated based on thriller genre conventions. The document aims to develop a realistic trailer by challenging conventions.
