Beyond the EU: DORA and NIS 2 Directive's Global Impact
Evaluation question 1
1. Evaluation Question 1
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge
forms and conventions of real media products?
Masthead – The masthead combines elements of both traditional and modern
hip hop magazines. Ittakes the classic bold lettering and combines it with a
straightedged, professionalfont. This is symbolic of the view that this magazineis
not your ‘average’ magazine. The name TRILL is an urban slang word used to
describesomeone as a realist. This tells our readers that we bring a true
representation of hip hop which is not influenced by external forces, like many
media companies today. Originally, my masthead was placed centrally, however
in the design process I decided to shift it to the left hand corner and increasethe
size. This follows a typical frontcover layout.
Photography – The medium shot used presents the model as
thoughtful and mature. As a young artist after his debut, he looks to the
future and what his plans are. This also presents the artist as
mysterious as not much about his personality is revealed through his
looks. Adding incentive for readers to learn about him, as this magazine
targets the explorer psychographic. Close ups and medium shots are
used to address the audience in my contents and feature article. This
shows the artist as a traditional hip hop artist looking like they are from
the streets.
