Through creating a magazine, the student learned to use several technologies. The student used a Canon camera to take high quality photos, learning how to alter settings to get the best shots. Photoshop was used to edit photos, making eyes and colors "pop" through tutorials. Internet research helped with codes and conventions as well as tutorials on using tools. A focus group provided feedback through mobile messaging. Powerpoint and Google Slides helped organize research and the evaluation through automatic saving and various formatting options. Overall, these technologies helped improve the production process and presentation of the final magazine.
