The document discusses potential target audiences for a thriller film. It identifies late teenagers and early adults as the primary audience due to the film's intense and action-packed nature. It further explores three specific audience groups: "Hackers", who would appreciate the technological aspects and mysteries; "Trackies", who enjoy films and games with friends and have an interest in technology; and "Skaters", who could relate to the film's action, suspense, and urban settings. By appealing to multiple groups, the film aims to attract a broader audience.

2. WHO SHOULD OUR
FILM APPPEAL TO?
I believe that our film should appeal to late teenagers / early
adults. And this is due to the intense yet action packed film
that our thriller has to offer. But it isn’t just ages in which
need to be taken into account when answering this question.
There are also different kinds of social groups. And I believe
that the most related audience to the film are (titles coming
from the ‘UK tribes website)…
-”HACKERS”
-”TRACKIES”
-”SKATERS”
And I will be discussing these in further detail…
3. H A C K E R S…
The first clear reasoning to why a hacker would be who
our film appealed to is the fact they share a big interest,
hacking. And this can relate to anyone who is ‘computer
mad’ and enjoys the various thrills surrounding them. So
as our film is very mysterious with big thrills and
suspense along the way. It is therefore a very good group
for an audience. But beside all the action etc., the film is
also a very interesting thing to look upon as it really goes
into lots of detail about this one pacific subject. And this is
something that the technology enhanced people will
really enjoy throughout. Which I therefore believe is a
good audience to have appealed too.
4. T R A C K I E S…
A trackie could be described as someone who enjoys
watching different types of films , playing computer games
and hanging out with their friends. And I believe that our film
is a good watch for someone like this.
This is a perfect type of film to be watching with your friends
as It included all kind of things. And the thriller element is
something that they will definitely get a thrill out of.
But overall, I believe that part of our audience for this film
would be someone that enjoys things like hanging out with
friends and holds a big interest in technology. Which a
‘trackie’ fits the brief for nicely.
5. S K A T E R S…
A skater is someone who enjoys the thrills in physical
activity and likes to make the most out of things such as
urban areas. In our film there is lots of action and suspense,
and this is something that a skater could relate to in the way
they go about their everyday lifestyle.
Also, we use a lot of urban location’s as settings within the
film which is something that could be of interest to a ‘skater’
But overall, tis type of audience will enjoy our film as it offers
things such as urban area and a high degree of suspense
and mystery. Which is something they seek to find as a
skater. And this film has it there in one.
6. OVERALL…
As this answer has shown, there are a number of different
audiences which can view our films. And I believe that we
have done a good job in merging the different interests of
various people together so they can all enjoy our film. And by
not just limiting our audience down to one group. It has
enabled us to make the most out of the idea that we had,
which is what can differ to other films, and especially in
todays industry.
