- 2. All three media products of ours work very well together as they all use similar things. For example, The colour scheme of the film poster and film magazine review is quite dark which connote a mysterious, dark tone. This indicates something mysterious from the start so it grips the reader straightaway. This works well with the fact that we used colour correction on Final Cut Pro to decrease the brightness to also give off a dark tone and imply that something bad is going to happen.
- 3. The red, black and white are all sharp colours that instantly grab the reader’s attention. On our poster we sampled the colour of the red lips of the jester mask to use that as the font for the text to have a coinciding colour scheme throughout so it is consistent. This also signifies the blood in our film that is infamous for it’s striking red colour. The black gives un underlying tone of evilness and darkness whereas the white could signify a little bit of hope. These colours act as enigma codes (Barthes).
- 4. The image of the jester mask on our poster is highly effective as it relates to our film. We thought it would be best to use the mask as it signifies the evilness of the masked man in our film. We also use a medium shot image of the masked man in our film review which gives the audience a little more to know about him. Teasing the audience allows them to make assumptions and try to predict before they watch the film. The film review talks about the main bits in the film and also has quotes from the cast and crew members, this allows the audience to get to know more context behind the short film.

You can also download it straight to your laptop or order it on blu-ray or dvd. One way we could extend our media package would be to promote through social media outlets or even create our own website. This could be where the audience could check on things like what goes on behind the scenes and interviews with the cast as well as extra scenes and bloopers.
