• Kahoot is an educational game
that quizzes student on things
they have learned in class. The
quiz is created by the teacher,
then students use their own
devices to answer the
questions. Teachers can see
what questions the students are
getting right and wrong and the
students can see right away as
well.

call school ages. It has
been used in elementary
all the way to high
school classes, even
some colleges.

keep everyone enthusiastic and
excited to play. Can usually turn
into a healthy competition
between students.

A Civil War mystery
• Ripped Apart was created
by the Smithsonian to teach
students about the Civil
War.
• Students will solve puzzles
to obtain clues to figure out
the mystery.

• Both Kahoot and Ripped Apart
offer a great learning and
assessment skills. They offer
interactive and comprehension
aspects with out using too much
animation and effects that
would be easily destracting. I
would see myself using both in
my future classrooms.
