Harnessing Solar Power In India for TransportationSatya Kumar DV
A path breaking approach to sustainable urban and rural transportation. Reduce dependency on imported fossil fuels for transportation and reduce urban air pollution by encouraging the use of solar power for mobility (electric cars, bikes and bicylces) through solar charging stations in 'smart cities' to begin with, and in rural areas and along the highways in due course.
An electric vehicle, also called an EV, uses one or more electric motors or traction motors
for propulsion instead of the traditional fossil fuel.
• First electric carriage was built in 1830s and the first electric automobile was built in 1891
in the United States.
• Types : Battery electric Vehicle
Hybrid Electric Vehicle
Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle
Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle
• Electric vehicles will play a pivot role in changing the environment and economy around
the globe in the next two decades.
This is a brief description about the current situation of Electrification of vehicles and E-Mobility in India. The presentation covers everything right from the working of electric vehicles to the usage by various countries. Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.

Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE & MAJOR FACTORS.
3. INTRODUCTION TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES :-
• An Electric Vehicle is a vehicle that
operates on an electric motor, instead
of an intemal combustion engine that
generates power by burning a mix of
fuel and gases.
• Electric vehicle is seen as a possible
replacement for the current-
generation automobile in near future
to address environmental challenges.
4. CONTINUED...
• Inspired by road going automobiles
powered by electricity.
• Propelled by one electric motor or more
using batteries.
• Electric motors give instant torque, and
smooth acceleration.
• Plug in - electric vehicles (EVs) are fast,
fun and efficient.
• Maintenance is simpler and cheaper.
6. MAJOR FACTORS THAT ATTRACT EV :-
• Public Health :- Electric cars don’t spew the tailpipe pollution thats linked to
asthma, heart attacks, poor health, and premature death.
• Affordability :- Electric cars are less expensive to fuel and maintain. And as new
models come out, costs to buy electric cars are plummeting.
• Growing Infrastructure :- You can plug your car in right at home. And more and
more areas have charging stations for when you’re on the go.
• Reliability & Flexibility :- New models hitting the market also offer more
flexibility of car size and style.
7. MARKET OVERVIEW :-
• The India Electric Vehicle Market was valued at USD 5 billion in 2020, and is predicted to grow to
USD 47 billion by 2026, with a CAGR of more than 44% during the forecast period (2021-2026).
• In India, the electric vehicle (EV) market is still in its infancy. Due to several government
initiatives and policies, it is predicted to expand at a considerably quicker rate throughout the
projection period.
• To lower their carbon footprint, e-commerce businesses (such as Amazon) are starting efforts to
deploy e-Mobility for last-mile delivery. India is experimenting with e-Mobility for public
transportation and has already deployed electric intercity buses in many major cities.
• Furthermore, state govemments are actively involved in the implementation of legislation that
encourage the use of electric vehicles.
9. CONTINUED....
• As of 2019, the world had 7.2 million
electric cars, a 40% jump over 2018.
While 1.6% of cars in China are Evs,
electric cars comprise just 0.07% of
the cars in India.
• Moreover, Norway, Iceland,
Netherland and Sweden have even
higher percentage.
10. EV CALLED AS A GREEN VEHICLE :-
• Electric vehicles emit fewer
greenhouse gases and air pollutants
than petrol or diesel cars.
• Evs also contribute less noise
pollution as they are much quieter
than petrol/diesel cars.
• As they do not have any tailpipe, Evs
produce zero carbon dioxide
emissions while driving.
11. LEVELS OF CHARGING :-
• LEVEL 1 :- Input of 120V
• Full charge: 8-10 hours.
• 2-5 miles per hour of charge.
• Most often used for at home charging.
• LEVEL 2 :- Input of 240V
• Full charge: 5-4 hours.
• 10-20 miles per hour of charge.
• Requires installation of additional charging equipment.
12. CONTINUED....
• LEVEL 3 :- DC FAST CHARGING (480V – 3 PHASE
INPUT)
• Full charge: ½-1 hours 60-80 miles per hour of
charge.
• Used most often in public charging stations.
• Often located along major highways and
interstates.
13. SOLAR CHARGING IN EV’S :-
• The combination of solar energy
and electric vehicle (EV) charging is
the key in drastically reducing our
dependence on fossil fuels.
• Electricity comes from a variety of
sources and it’s crucial that electric
vehicles will be powered by
renewables.
14. CONTINUED....
• Electric cars are becoming immensely popular and coming years we expect nearly
anyone who owns a solar energy system will install a solar charging station at its
home.
• For this to happen we’ll need a fundamental change in how we think about
refuelling our cars and a natural evolution of our energy infrastructure.
15. ADVANTAGES :-
• Lower running costs.
• Tax and financial benefits.
• Better performance.
• Zero tailpipe emissions.
• Easy to drive and quiet.
• Convenience of charging at home.
• No fuel, no emissions.
16. DISADVANTAGES :-
• Finding a Charging station – EV charging stations are fewer and further between
than gas stations.
• Charging takes longer.
• The driving range on a full charge.
• Higher Initial Purchase Cost.
• Replacing the Batteries is Expensive.
• High Maintenance Cost.
