European Day was celebrated at Ysgol Glan Conwy, where different classes dressed as countries from Europe. Years 0, 1 and 2 dressed as Italy, cooking pasta and pizza and making an Italian flag. Years 3 and 4 dressed as Spain, cooking a strawberry and mandarin flan and doing a Spanish word search. Years 5 and 6 dressed as Portugal, making a flag, cake, and presentations about the country. Another group from Years 5 and 6 presented about Poland.

2. Each class came to school dressed in
the colours of a different European
Country.

3. Years 0,1 and 2
Pupils from years 0,1and 2 came as Italy.
During the day they cooked pasta and pizza
and also made a flag of Italy.

4. Years 3 and 4
Years 3 and 4 came as Spain.
During the day they cooked a Strawberry and
Mandarin Flan.
They also did a word search about Spain and
the main cities.

5. Years 5 and 6
Years 5 and 6 came as Portugal.
During the day we cooked a traditional
Portuguese cake, made a flag and created a
Power Point presentation and information
sheet.

6. Poland
A group from years 5 and 6 also made a Power
Point presentation about Poland.
