The filmmaking process is an extremely important, long, and complicated process. It usually takes
between several months and several years. A film always starts with an original story idea, then a
screenplay gets written, and then they shoot it. After that they edit the film and direct it. Then they
distribute the film to its intended audience. There are also many people involved in the filmmaking
process, from the directors to the cast, to the stage crew. The first step is coming up with the

filmmaking. The cast and crew can frequently spend 12 or more hours on the set, filming only
three or four pages of script, often in very uncomfortable locations. This goes on for days, weeks,
months with the same schedule day after day, review dailies (the footage shot yesterday), shoot

Even if one plans on becoming a director and not a screenwriter one needs to know what kind of
scripts to look for. This is very important for a beginning small movie director since the reader will
most likely be writing their own scripts to get some recognition. A script is a document that
outlines every aural, visual, behavioral, and lingual element required to tell a story, according to
the dictionary definition at www.Wikidpedia.org. It is crucial to remember that film is a visual
medium. One doesn't tell the audience the story, one shows them. So what one will be writing is

Many of the morals in a comedy movie can relate to us; however, it usually is a moral that is just
useless facts that we don't need in our daily life. In the movie, Me, Myself, and Irene is an
example of a moral that we can relate to but really don't need. In the beginning of the movie the
character has found the love of his life, they get married and live a happy life until his wife finds
another guy and they get divorced. At the end of the movie the main character finds another girl
he really likes and was going to let her walk out of his life, until he realizes he is not going to be
happy without her and stops her from leaving. The moral in the movie was that you shouldn't let a
loved one go by without telling that person your feelings. We can relate to this but it wont be of

Comedy movies can educate us and make us change into a different person as well. It allows us to

War from the Beginning War films have been around for quite some time. They have many different
aspects to them. Each film has a little bit different view, depending on what the director wants the
audience to get out of the movie. Some target the importance of how horrific and heart breaking war
was, while others were used to inspire their country to support their troops. There are films though
that go straight to the point of war and show all of the intense combat, the pain and suffering the
soldiers did for their country, and the brutality of what countries did to prisoners in concentration

People could see what was happening at the war, and realize what their soldiers were going
through. These films were used mostly as a recruitment use, and as way to make the people
angry towards the enemy, suggesting that heroic American involvement would bring home
victory. We could see ourselves that the war demands not only on the nerves of the soldiers but
also to those who had to stay at home (Kaes 22). Not only did films like these inspire people to
join the military, but made the people who stayed at home become aware of the how nerve
racking and crucial the war was. War films died off for a period of time after the war, since there
was no need to rally the people during a time of peace. Eventually the films picked back in the mid
twenties. The first film to really bring start the production of war films again was The Big Parade,
it was the first to realistically portray the horrors of battle and the struggle for survival by three

Both of these discussion questions ask us to identify who is the author of music remixes and fan

My Greatest Movies Essay
There are remarkably multiple amazing movies to choose from.If I had to pick 10 of the greatest
films of all time they would include suspense and action. The list of movies that I have picked out

After seeing this movie multiple times, this movie is by far my favorite film. It's not because it is a
disney film or even a kids movie it's because all the elements in this movie was well executed. The
animation of this film was done beautifully and done with great detail. In the film you can tell how
much time and effort was put in and how the animators took the time to work on each section of
the movie. The soundtrack of moana was beautifully written and composed. Another reason that
moana is my number one movie is because she is not a princess. In the movie she is trained to be
the chief and wants be for her island and her people.In addition to that the characters in the film that
we encounter are very compelling. We watch them change, and grow and react throughout the

(BM) tells the story of a robot that lasts for about 200 years. His creator and his descendants

kind of armor, looking like a machine; during the night he connects a plug into the electric outlet to

Every person can relate to being asked the question: "What's your favorite movie?". Most of the
time this is a very tricky question for people to answer, simply because there are so many viable
options to chose from. Strangely enough, if you were to ask a movie director or producer what
their favorite films are, they'd give you a straightforward and honest answer consisting of only one
or a few different titles that come to mind. As strange as it sounds, directors who have grown up or

In the opening scenes we see American soldiers coming into land on a cargo ship. There is no

and crying. As the front of the transporter goes down people are immediately being shot and blood

The introduction of sound films in the late 1920's was a divisive issue among those involved and
interested in the emerging motion picture industry. Even though it wasn't the sudden breakthrough it
is often perceived to be, the addition of sound and voice to mainstream cinema revolutionized movie
making and led to conflicting viewpoints as to whether or not this innovation was a positive

As a digital Cinema student, I have learned a lot about the different types of movies that are
created every year and what makes them successful, and unsuccessful. With this bit of insight, I
have discovered that I take a strong interest and drive for documentary films. I find them to be
meaningful, and more productive than other types of movies. Some documentaries are created to
expose the reality of the world for what it is, and I think that with everything going on in this world,
that is effective and necessary. It was not until this year that I was able to actually compose some
short documentary films myself, and I found that I really enjoy it.

I think it is important that people are informed about the bad results of supporting this brand, so I
created a video expressing the truth behind this "great" brand. Most of my shots are zooming in
and out of the shelves within the store, with a few that have a person interacting with the
products, or just every day I thought this variety would help show the viewer the differences in
the choices they can make. With all the shots, I incorporated a voice over discussing the issue at
hand. This was the most important aspect of my video, because it helped the viewer learn about
what the problem is with "great value" products, and how it is affecting the world. I enjoy realistic
artwork, so I thought I would try documentary films and see what I could do with it. I also want to
try and influence people to second guess supporting this brand
The struggle with documentary films is getting the access that you need, and being able to document
the real sources behind what the topic. I know when I was shooting, I did not want to get caught,
because I knew Wal–Mart probably would not want me videoing their products, so I was extremely
careful when I was shooting my footage. Kenner and his producer had a similar problem. When

My Favorite Movie Essay
As 2016 draws to its inevitable close, it's time for me to look back on the (literally) hundreds of
movies I've seen this year and decide which ten were my absolute favorites. A heady task, I know–
but someone who calls himself "The Black Saint" has gotta do it. And since I'm the only person
around here in the depths of Gruesome Manor that answers to that name, I guess that task falls to me.
But before I get to the final ten, I'd like to give shout outs to some films that I enjoyed out of the
horror genre. Films like Deadpool, which took the whole superhero genre and freshened it in a most
ribald, hilarious and unexpected way. Captain America: Civil War is pretty much my favorite
superhero movie so far, I loved its intrigue, action, and flat out incredible battle scenes. Having the
Black Panther and Spider–Man in the mix didn't hurt any either. Marvel films went 3 for 3 this year
with the release of Doctor Strange, which (in IMAX 3D) was the first superhero film to actually
make me feel like I was in another dimension. A real experience to witness in the IMAX format.
Getting back to the horror genre, Green Room was one of the most harrowing films of the year for
sure, with scenes of violence that still make me wince when I think of them. Larry Kent's She Who
Must Burn is more morality tale than horror film, but it's scenes of horror are about as potent as any

The Job of a Film Director The film director has an elaborate job, classed as an art in its own
sense. Its meticulous details and multi million dollar bills at the end make a director's job truly an
art. How they can take the imagination and lay it on a roll of film is an array of elaborate casting,

Unsure of trust or higher power, Billy is forced to a state of neglect, beautifully represented with
Loach's brutal simplicity and bland surroundings.
Billy then goes out to his paper round we see that his bike has been taken by Jud. We have
enough information to know that Jud is a bully and that he cares not for any brotherly bond that
they might have. This is further used by Loach to show hate and despair. So Billy now has to run
to the shop. This is a good chance for the director to show the viewer the environment that Billy
lives in; this scene really gives 'a sense of place'. The director has established to the viewer the
importance of the location. We can see now that Simplicity is now used now in every aspect of
the filming, even cinematography. All scenes are broad and general, no closing up to anything,
maybe portraying the views of Billy. I believe there is no studio work or specially constructed sets
because it contributes to the film. It gives it an air of atmosphere, realism but most importantly
Simplicity. As he runs through the dilapidated slums of Barnsley there are three layers I think to
the scene. First of all there is Billy about to leave school, secondly there are the terraced houses the
shabby homes of the working class. This signifies his home, his barrier; he is supported (however

also inspire creative art practices.
