respondents and how the samples seem to be. But for the reason of anonymity, there is no
comprehensive information about respondents. It is agreed to make the respondents information in

that purpose the questionnaire was prepared to get some meaningful, hence collect very basic

3. The Classical Expected Utility Theory And The Dual Theory...
INTRODUCTION:
Identifying, defining risks (market risks as well as non market risks), presenting and justifying a
unified framework for the analysis, construction and implementation of risk measures are important
components of insurance pricing.
According to the Oxford s advanced learners dictionary, risk can be defined as the possibility that
something uncertain (not predictable) and unpleasant will happen. Both financial and insurance
organisations are therefore faced with this concept of risk in their everyday activities. Financial
risk can be said to be the possibility that the return achieved on an investment will be different from
that expected, and also takes into account the size of the difference. Whereas insurers will define
risk as a chance of harm, damage or loss against something which is insured.
Several literatures reveal a good number of different approaches and theories to the price of risk.
The two main competing economic theories we shall consider are the classical expected utility
theory, and the dual theory of risk which was developed by Yaari(1987).
They defined the price of an insurance risk excluding other expenses as the risk adjusted premium.
The rest of this paper is structured as follows: section 2 presents the class of distortion operators
used in insurance pricing, their properties and an application of pricing by distortion. Section 3
incorporates a new pricing principle by Wang (2002) and its relevance to natural hedging.

4. Research Paper On Teddy Bear
The teddy bear was appeared in two parts of the world at about the same time. In 1903 in
Germany, Margarete Steiff made toy animals out of felt scraps in a small factory owned by her
family. Her nephew, asked her to make a bear similar to his sketches of bears at the zoo. She did
not want a toy bear to scare children, so she modified the bear s features. She used brown mohair
to create a bear whose head, arms, and legs could move independently so that the bear would be
more like a real animal and could sit or stand. He was stuffed with wood shavings and had shoe
button eyes with embroidered nose and mouth. The bear was displayed at a toy show in Germany,
which caught the attention of an American toy buyer, who ordered 3,000 bears. Now

6. A Article On Animal Eyes
This article is about different animal eyes. It presents different eyes and how they help that
particular animal survive and thrive in its environment. It has five different sections that are all
very different but tie into each other. It names several unique animals and has multiple photos to go
along with each section. Even just at first glance, this article is very eyecatching (no pun intended).
At the least, the photographs from this article could be used various ways in a classroom. You
could identify the animal each set of eyes belongs to and talk about the physical differences:
shape, color, position, and other physical features. The pictures could be cut out and then in half
to create a matching game. Just using the photographs, you could also compare our eyes to the
eyes of these animals. A point of view activity with these photos would be interesting and
engaging as well. Students could choose a set of animal eyes and write about what they are
looking at! Getting into the actual information that the article presents, it is broken down into
sections: eye position, eye size, eye protection, oddball eyes, and our eyes. Using these categories,
students could research and find other animals that fit into each. We could also discuss the
significance of each. Why does the size of some animal s eyes matter, why does the positioning of
animals eyes matter, why is the protection of the eyes important, etc. We could pretend we had eyes

The favorable circumstances and impediments of shower curtains or shower doors go past their
outward appearance. While they contribute enormously to the general look of your restroom, they

On the off chance that you need your restroom to look neater when house visitors visit, the shower

9. The American Lloyd s Register Essay
From early 1852 to 1869 the Damariscotta ship was christened the North American and during its
career as an American ship hailed from New York. Its owner or consignees were: J.W. Phillips (ca
1857 to 1858) Williams Guion, (ca 1860 to 1867) and A. Jacquemot (ca 1868) . The ship s career as
a passenger and cargo carrier started with its use in the California Gold Rush. In all issues of the
American Lloyd s Register, it is described as built in 1851, not 1852 or 1853 as often informed.
Probably this is the year its keel was laid. A quick search on the internet revealed that it also
transported immigrants in the 1860s departing from Liverpool to New York.
Captain Collier is not associated with the North American. Collier s North Americawas built in
Boston in 1851 and had almost the same dimensions as the North American. In 1859 the Boston ship
was owned by Nickerson Company of Boston.
Similarity and contemporaneity of both ships account for the mixing up of identities. This is
even more confusing when the 1866 and 1867 issues of the American Lloyd s Register were
checked: the Damariscotta ship was registered as North America, but the Boston ship had been
removed from registers, probably sold or scuttled. It is conceivable that this was a temporary
change of name as the name North America carried some status with it. In reality, by looking up
Lloyd s registers for the next years, many different types of vessels from full rigged ships to
steamships appeared bearing this

10. Mark Trumbo s Performance Analysis
While Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout burst onto the scene in 2012, it was his
teammate, Mark Trumbo, that did so the year before. In 2011, the future looked bright for Trumbo,
who mashed 29 home runs in his first full season with the Angels. Both players turned in
unbelievable 2012 seasons, creating an impressive tandem poised to be the core of the Angels future.
In 2012, Trout blasted 30 home runs in his stellar first full season in MLB, while Trumbo topped
him with 32 dingers. Both young stars earned a trip to the All Star Game that year and kept up
their hot play into 2013. In 2013, Trout was just beginning his reign as one of the best players in
baseball, while Trumbo continued to improve his game with 34 home runs.
The next season, however, Trumbo began a surprising downfall.
The Angels traded Trumbo to the Arizona Diamondbacks following the 2013 season in a three
team deal that netted Los Angeles much needed young pitchers. In his only full season with the D
Backs (2014), Trumbo struggled to get going after suffering a stress fracture in his left foot. The
injury limited the power hitter to 88 games in 2014, and Trumbo was never able to regain his
fantastic form, hammering just 14 home runs. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Trumbo to the Seattle Mariners after 46 games in 2015, but the change of scenery didn t halt his

96 games with the M s. When the 2015 season concluded, Trumbo s stint in Seattle was over, as he
was again traded. The three player deal sent Trumbo and left handed reliever C.J. Riefenhauser to

and the highest being roast beef. Both of these are meat products but they have very different
compositions and storage methods, as the beef was frozen in liquid and the pepperoni was in an
air sealed package at room temperature. The foods with a lot of lipids in them, like pepperoni,
turkey, roast beef, and walnuts all had the lowest oxygen contents. The carbohydrate based foods,
like oatmeal, noodles, and mac and cheese had the highest oxygen concentration in their headspace.
This is because they are not as easily oxidized as the other products. There was not a very specific
pattern of proportionality when comparing the amount of carbon dioxide to the amount of oxygen

was so strange, marveling at the tone and storytelling of The Old Mill. I have never felt more

feeling was magical.
The Old Mill is a 1937 Silly Symphony cartoon produced by Walt Disney, directed by Wilfred
Jackson, and scored by Leigh Harline. The film depicts a natural community of animals, populating
an old abandoned windmill in the countryside, and how they deal with a severe thunderstorm that
nearly destroyed their homes.

Besides setting the groundwork for Walt Disney s future animated films, the cartoon really
enlighten the possibilities on how animation can be portrayed. Sure, Disney has held an artistic
standard of realism in his cartoons, but never on imitating nature and its animals, capturing them in
their natural habitat. In conjunction to the advancements to colored animation and sound, The Old
Mill traditionally became a piece of art capturing nature in its worst state, a thunderstorm.
Animation was originally created through imitating consciousness, and now nature. Interesting
enough, Disney s animators were assigned to study animals. Imagine the time and effort to draw
an animal enough times to recreate the same of similar body structure in multiple angles. I cannot
say anymore: The Old Mill really resonated me. It is a beautiful piece of art that still holds up in
this modern age of animation. The techniques used to create The Old Mill, is commonly used in
modern animation. While the size, space, and simplicity used to animate may differ, the techniques
are there. I would also argue that The Old Mill was the forefront of a technological advancement.
While multiplane cameras were used in the past, Disney s multiplane camera allowed the use of
seven panels of artwork and a movable camera. Multiplane cameras added a level of depth that was

Young earth creationism is what most people mean when referring to creationism. This is primarily
due to the fact that the creationists most visible in the public eye during the creation evolution
debate were most likely to hold young earth creationist views. Additionally, the terms recent earth or
recent creation have been used to refer to this same position. These terms clearly define their
position as one in which the creation of the world occurred somewhat recently, that is, the world is
young. However, it obviously doesn t provide us with much information beyond that. To begin with,
how young is the world? In order to help answer this and other questions concerning young earth

The next point Nelson and Reynolds make is one of disagreement between young earth and
progressive creationists. Concerning the impact of the curse in Genesis 3, young earth creationists
typically view this point to be the entrance of all death and suffering to the world. Progressive
creationists, however, consider there to be a long period of time between the creation of the world
and the introduction of sin into the world. Because of this length of time, progressive creationists
consider animal death and suffering to have occurred long before the first humans sinned. The
question of animal death and suffering prior to the fall of mankind is one that will be discussed in
further detail when looking at the old earth positions
According to Nelson and Reynolds, the strongest point of contention between young earth and
progressive creationists is that of the flood. Young earth creationists generally view the account of
the flood as actually having occurred. Other positions, however, progressive included, consider it a

events.

21. Analysis Of The Poem Caged Bird
In the poem Caged Bird by Maya Angelou about freedom, emotions, feelings, and depression. In
the poem she wrote A free bird leaps on the back of the wind and floats downstream till the
current ends and dips his wing in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the sky (1 5). There is
nothing for the bird to do anything better than freedom. Because any cages, even the gold, can be
captive. It s meant, like a beautiful girl, who doesn t think about love, but she is thinking only about
money and when she got it, and she married, she cannot be happy in the huge house, with gold
furniture, big pool, expensive cars and without love because this girl just a doll for her husband.
She lives in the gold cage without freedom. First, there is no other bird next to anyone, and with
no one to bet on the song. Secondly, the bird will not be able to spread wings its wide and fly far.
Thirdly, independence, life and destiny are completely lost in the hands of the owner of the cage.
There is such a state of the human soul when one wants to live and love, to fly to heaven, to laugh
and sing, and to give his joy to all who are near. Such a feeling is called happiness. But, apparently,
no one can give an accurate definition of this concept, as no one has yet to determine exactly
what is happiness. Some people are trying to be happy and from time immemorial trying to
figure out how to achieve it. The fact is that happiness is different for each person, depending on
the personality of the person. And this, in turn, depends on education, environment, living
conditions and many other factors. However at the poem But a bird that stalks down his narrow

22. Contributions Of The Founding Fathers
All of the founding fathers of the United States were great because they acted on their values and
beliefs, helping to sow the seeds of a new nation. The work of the founding fathers became
instrumental for independence from the British Crown. Being willing to stand up to Britain was no
small feat, making the deeds of the founding fathers even more admirable. The founding fathers will
be celebrated throughout history for their contribution not just to America but to the world.
Although many men and women can be considered instrumental to founding the nation, there are
seven key players that most historians identify as being the founding fathers. Those seven include
George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, James
Monroe, and Ben Franklin. All seven of the founding fathers and their contributions are important.
Therefore, it can be helpful to compare and contrast three of them such as Washington, Hamilton,
and Franklin to better appreciate the ways their diverse talents, skills, and philosophies helped to
create a nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all people are created equal.
Not all the founding fathers became presidents, but all were leaders in their own ways by
capitalizing on their strengths and areas of specialization. Two of the founding fathers that were not

died from liver failure I decided that I wanted to get another pet. I finally decide that I wanted a
puppy, so I started begging for one. It took a lot of begging, but after a few months my mom gave
in and said I could get one. My family and I started looking at which kind of puppy we wanted to
get and where we wanted to get one at. We all decide that we wanted a lap dog, because when we
looked on the internet at them, one website said that smaller dogs are easier to potty train. We
found a place that breeds dogs, there were many different kinds of dogs for sale on the website.
One breed of dog that was extremely cute was a peekapoo. A peekapoo is a mix between a
Pekingese and a poodle. Peekapoos are small lap dogs that don t shed because they have hair

24. Adrienne Rich Storm Warnings
Storm Warning by Adrienne Rich is a poem in which the speaker describes an oncoming storm
and expresses her feelings about how to deal with the problems she faces because of the storm.
The poem s imagery and structure help convey the speaker s attitude of perseverance towards
hardships and problems that life often throws her way. In her poem she explores the connection
between physical and emotional storms and how they are both inevitable.
The tone of the first sestet in Storm Warning is a foreboding sense of an unknown doom. The
speaker seems to be unsure of what lies ahead but feels. The speaker describes how the unrest has

Man of Politics and Man of Faith
When someone asks what should an individual do? , everyone is bound to have different answers
due to the nature of the question, because each answers would be on the basis of his or her own
philosophy and language he or she uses while explaining. The philosophy makes a point and that
synthesized with the language, one makes a direction of his or her argument. To point out for the
two men, Niccolo Machiavelli starts with a philosophy that people are gullible and wicked
(Chapter XVIII), and Martin Luther starts with a philosophy that people can be born again from
man of flesh desires to a man of faith if he truly believes in Christ and work toward helping others.

answers and directions on the question, especially on how to deal with others. In summary, two
men are mostly not similar in subject of treatment of others; Machiavelli preaches one to work for
calculated self interest even if it accompanies using deceit strategically, when Luther preaches one
to work for selflessness and faithfulness to achieve inner greatness and concordance with neighbors
when interacting. First, Machiavelli and Luther differ in that former teaches that deceit is
permissible for greater good and the latter teaches that truly and selflessly is essential for the same
reason. Machiavelli in Chapter XVIII talks about how good prince should have both humanistic

Gum disease is an infection of the tissues that surround and support the teeth. It starts with
inflammation of gums (gingivitis) which when left untreated may proceed to cause bone loss
(periodontitis). As the support of the tooth is lost, gum diseases lead to lose teeth.
Cause: The primary cause of gum diseases is plaque, the sticky bio film of bacteria that is
constantly forming on our teeth. But there are following factors which increase the risk of
developing it:
Poor oral hygiene
Smoking or chewing tobacco
Genetics and family history of gum diseases
Crooked teeth that are hard to keep clean
Pregnancy, hormonal changes

Other studies showed that women with gum disease were more likely to deliver preterm, low birth
weight babies.
Treatment options: The goal of treatment is to reduce swelling, the depth of pockets and stop
disease progression. Treatment options depend on the stage of disease, past history of gum disease,
response to earlier treatment and overall health.
Gingivitis, an early stage of the gum disease is still reversible as the disease is still only isolated to
gums and hasn t yet spread to the bone. It can be easily treated with simple non invasive
professional cleaning by the dentist, followed by daily brushing, flossing and mouthwash rinses.
Periodontitis, an advanced gum disease has spread to the bone and requires surgical treatment.
Scaling of teeth The first and foremost treatment is cleaning of the teeth by a dentist to remove the
plaque and tartar/calculus (hardened bacterial film). This removes the bacteria and thus controls

A culture defined is the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious,
or social group according to Merriam Webster (2017). What does this mean to the average
individual? When surrounded by various cultures, as humans, we sometimes have tough decisions
to make. You can develop new relationships, or avoid another due to one s culture. The world is a
very intriguing place because no matter where you go, no country, state or city will be exactly
identical. Although this may be true, it is always interesting to compare countries to America to
realize how different our culture compares to others. Nigeria(when compared to the United States)
is a very different place which could be a vast culture shock to someone who is not familiar with
that specific culture or society. Nigeria is relatively small but has a population which surpasses
Russia. This being said, in Nigeria the average age is only 17.9 years old, in contrast, the United
States and Russia have an average age of 38 years old. Understanding culture awareness and its
effect on the way humans live can make an individual very successful when they find themselves in
a foreign environments.
Nigeria is small in relation to the United States of America while still being the 32nd largest

I will be talking about the anthropogenic effects of human activity on the environment as the part of
society .Human impact on the environment or anthropogenic impact on the environment includes
impacts on biophysical environments, biodiversity, and other resources. The term anthropogenic
designates an effect or object resulting from human activity. The term was first used in the technical
sense by Russian geologist Alexey Pavlov, and was first used in English by British ecologist Arthur
Tansley in reference to human influences on climax plant communities. The atmospheric scientist
Paul Crutzen introduced the term Anthropocene in the mid 1970s. The term is sometimes used in

stigma around the topic; woman are the victims, not the offenders. This is not true though. Female
sex offenders have their own category. This is because their motives and actions are different than
a man s. The research done on female offenders can be bias because it is such a small amount

The victims of a female s sex offender are generally younger than a man s victim. An
investigation was held in Arkansas in 1999 and reported that 50% of their victims were
categorized as 11 16 and 24% were in the 4 10 age range (Tewksbury, 2004, p 368). Solis and
Benedek mention a study that found 60% of males who reported sexual abuse had identified a
female as the offender (1993). The female offenders who abuse young boys are suggested that
they have a difficult time associating with adult males and they use the boys as a substitution
(Solis and Benedek, 2012). This could be because of their own trauma as a child, they do not have
healthy relationships with any adult male in their life. So, they go after children. It is also pointed
out that females are more likely to victimize other females. One thought on why females victimize
other females is because they have a male counterpart, who is attracted to females. According to
Tewksbury (2004), the female offender knew the victim:
In Fromuth and Conn (1997) s study of self reported sexual perpetrators in a college population,
68% of the victims were identified as family members. Faller (1995) reported that in the sample of
40 clinically referred perpetrators, 85% were mothers and 55% abused only their own children,

43. A Comparison Of Love In Great Expectations
The Lovely and the Loveless
People as well as writers often mistake infatuation with love. As a result, love at first sight is a
common trope in film and literature. Love is something that takes time and effort; people must
choose to put in the care and understanding into a relationship for it to be considered love. While
the two are similar, infatuation is attraction to someone based on their appearance; love is mutual
affection and the act of looking beyond someone s problems and flaws. In Great Expectations by
Charles Dickens, the main characters all indulge in infatuation, but never love. Because Pip and
Estella s lives are built off of appearances rather than character, they cannot form healthy
relationships and thus cannot experience true love.
Because Pip is obsessed with Estella s beauty and treats her as an object, he can never love her
while he is forcing himself to love someone who will only hurt him. To illustrate, when Pip is
out walking by the piers with Joe, he begins to think of Miss Havisham, an eccentric, miserable
old woman, and Estella, a beautiful but cold hearted girl, pondering to himself, It was pleasant
and quiet... whenever I watched the vessels standing out to sea with their white sails spread, I
somehow thought of Miss Havisham and Estella; whenever the light struck aslant, afar off, upon
a cloud or sail or green hill or waterline, it was just the same (124; ch 15). This reveals how Pip is
no longer able to think about beautiful objects without thinking of Estella. He is connecting
symbols of purity and peacefulness to the ever chaotic and manipulative Miss Havisham and
Estella. Because he idealizes them and puts them on a pedestal, he is unable to care about them as
equals or as human beings. In addition, while Pip is waiting with Joe by the door for Mrs. Joe to
come home, he looked at the stars, and considered how awful it would be for a man to turn his
face up to them as he froze to death, and see no help or pity in all the glittering multitude (59; ch
7); this illustrates how Pip views the stars the same way he views Estella: as cold and pitiless.
While they are beautiful, they are completely out of reach. And despite the fact that stars, by nature,

INTRODUCTION:
Mitochondrion produces the energy that cell needs by breaking down sugars, fatty acids and
amino acids to CO2 and H2O. In this process, which is called cellular respiration, the chemical
energy in sugar, fatty acid and amino acid molecules is captured as ATP. Krebs cycle is a part of
the cellular respiration that consists of series of reactions. And succinate dehydrogenase is one of the
enzymes that is used in this cycle. It basically catalyzes the oxidation of succinate to fumarate. In
this reaction, succinate reduces a FAD molecule, which eventually donates its electrons to
coenzyme Q. However, Azide prevents FADH2 from giving its electrons to coenzyme Q, rather
than an artificial electron acceptor, DCIP takes the electrons. DCIP is a dark blue solution that
gets lighter as it gains electrons. As DCIP gets lighter, its absorbance will decrease. So, the rate
of the reaction can be relatively observed by looking at the absorbance values of DCIP since the
reaction processes, DCIP gains electrons and gets lighter in color. By spectrophotometry we took
the absorbance values. Spectrophotometer is used in the process, which sends beams of light to the
sample and measures the intensity of the light that passes through the sample. This way we can

In the film Remember the Titans directed by Boaz Yakin, the main characters of the Titans are
introduced as a group to us in a scene shot in the gymnasium. This scene is when the team first
meets the other prospective team members and develop their relationships with each other. Yakin
uses this scene to show tension and intimidation between the two separate teams, especially
focusing in on the two coaches (Boone and Yoast) while giving the audience an idea of where their
relationship stands. He uses four techniques to create this; blocking, sound effects, camera angles
and dialogue to do this
Yakin uses a variety of minor techniques in this excerpt to provide the viewer with a greater
understanding of the greater technique theme (racism and discrimination) running throughout the
film. Firstly, Yakin has used the facial expressions of the players and coaches to give the audience
the impression of dislike and discomfort, this is shown especially at the very end of the excerpt,
this is when the two coaches meet eye to eye in a confrontation by their teams. The facial
expressions create an atmosphere of disapproval to the audience which aids the setup of the greater
theme throughout the film. Secondly the technique of blocking (where the director has chosen the
actors to stand) is used to give an impression of a standoff/confrontation. An example of this would
be when the white team strides in and places themselves standing opposite the black team. This is
important regarding

46. Discrimination In Workplace Discrimination
The percentage of whites with obesity are much lower than the other ethnicities because white
families tend to eat healthier due to a higher income rate. Studies show that in low income
neighborhoods contain far less grocery stores and an abundant amount fast food restaurants.
This is only half of the problem, even if there are grocery stores available, an income large
enough to afford real healthy food, whilst a place to live, is not easily come by in certain
regions. Statistics show that the percentage of Whites living below poverty line is a mere 9%
while Latinos (20%) and blacks (22%) show numbers over twice the amount. What could be
causing such a large Wage Gap? In 2010, White Americans held 88% of the wealth and only
64% of the population where as Black Americans were 2.7% of the wealth and 13% of the
population. In 2003 the National Bureau of Economic Research found that Job Applicants with
White sounding names got one callback for every ten resumes while those with African American
sounding names got one callback for every fifteen resumes sent out. Lack of call backs on
resumes for Ethnic Names all the way to Less pay for the Equal work are only two reasons why the
Black American community is showing such alarming obesity rates. Getting rid of Workplace
discriminationis the First step to solving the large wage gap in the United States.
Black females have the highest Obesity rate out of not only the Black Community but also within
the Female community as well. I

INTRODUCTION
Wine, as a product, does offer a degree of complexity that not many other categories can claim.
Wine is a beverage. Wine is a socialization tool or a way to celebrate an event. Wine tells us about
the history and culture of a country. Wine is a symbol of prestige.
Traditionally, natural cork was considered the closure of choice, especially for wine of any
quality. In truth, natural cork has many advantages. It is natural, flexible and compressible with
amazing anti slip properties. It is also biodegradable, 100% recyclable and, cork forests promote
biodiversity. Most important natural cork has proven to be extremely suitable for long term wine
aging. But wineries are switching to screw caps and other alternative closures to ensure quality and
reduce the possibility of contamination with TCA (the chemical compound 2,4,6 trichloroanisole),
which a wine gets with a faulty cork leaving behind the musty and damp smell but there is still the
hesitation thinking that screw caps may not be provided with the same aging effect as the wines
under cork does. An important advantage of the screw cap is that it really preserves the aromatic
freshness and youthfulness of a wine (The Kitchen, 2008).
The type of closure selected for wine has

48. Effects Of Pivotal Response Treatment On Language Expansion
Effects of pivotal response treatment on language expansion in children with autism Stock,
Mirenda, and Smith (2013) compared the effectiveness of private group applied behavior analysis
(GABA) and pivotal response treatment (PRT) on several domains of development in children with
autism spectrum disorder. Progress and effectiveness of treatment was assessed through several
measures, such as the Preschool Language Scale, the Merill Palmer Revised Scales, the Vineland
Adaptive BehaviorScales, the Child Behavior Checklist, and the Parenting Stress Index Short Form.
In the GABA group, intervention was individualized based on strengths and weaknesses of each
child, and structured 1:1 discrete trial training as well as generalized 1:2 teaching was implemented.
Target programs included imitation, manding, receptive language, object matching, adaptive skills,
and social skills training. Intervention took place both in intensive teaching and natural teaching
environments in a preschool like setting. Generalized ABA teaching included two children to one
therapist, and the children worked on social skills. In the PRT group, individualized intervention
goals focused on functional communicationskills, developmentally appropriate social and play
skills, as well as adaptive skills. A major difference between the two groups was that parents were
included in an active therapist role throughout intervention, and therapeutic sessions were
conducted in the home and community.

49. Abortion Executive Branch
The purpose of this American government research paper is to discuss the topic of abortion and
how it relates to the three branches of the American government. This essay will research the
Executive, Judicial and Legislative branches. I will use research from sources to cover how this
topic plays out in the government along with its effects on the American people. The US Federal
Government has dealt with abortionby different facts between the Executive Branch, the Judicial
Branch, and the Legislative Branch. Abortion is a process that terminates pregnancy. The
decisions that the government are trying to put in play are hard because everyone has different
views on abortions. While, the Supreme Court s, the laws, and the president all are trying to
reduce abortion, it is like taking away from another life that is being created. Still, until this day
they are still trying to have decisions on abortions. It remains a relevant topic on major news
stations and as recently with attacks at a Planned Parenthood.
In the Executive Branch, the President doesn t approve of abortions. President Obama is trying to ...

In the case of Planned Parenthood v. Casey it was upheld for a woman s right to legal abortion,
but must have a 24 hour waiting period. Though legal abortion is still going on but it s coming to
have stricter boundaries. Parental involvement only one parent is to stay with child. In 1990, two
cases which was Hodgson v. Minnesota as well as Ohio v. Akron center for Reproductive Health,
determined that states requiring parental consent before a minor could have an abortion must allow
for Judicial bypass. States governments can restrict abortion access after the first trimester with
laws intended to protect the woman s health. Abortions after fetal viability must be available if the
woman s health or life are at risk, state governments can prohibit other

50. Reflective Commentary
Guidance for completion of your reflective commentary
A reflective approach to your educational and culturalexperience will bring about changes in the
way you perceive your academic environment. Further, this reflective approach can go on to
produce changes in attitudes and awareness which may, in turn, benefit your personal and
professional growth. While a single experience in isolation, such as your overseas or
homeplacement, will be insufficient to achieve such growth, that experience coupled with reflection
may serve as a powerful impetus for development of key transferable skills which can directly
impact on your future employability.
So, the purpose of this piece of reflective work is to compare and contrast the environment you ...

classes conducted in similar fashion, or was the host style of teaching and learning entirely
different? * How much focus was there on working in groups and teams as opposed to independent

was feedback given on your progress, and at what times?
However, you must not merely answer these questions: if you did, you would only be describing
your experience. The purpose of this piece of work is to reflect, not to narrate. Therefore, you
must, firstly, answer these questions and then go on to consider their implications for you as an
individual in relation to your studies and future development. If your experience was that the
teaching style was more like being back in school, i.e. it was very didactic, rather than promoting
and encouraging independent learning you must consider:
* Which style did you prefer? And why...? * Which form of teaching helped you to learn more, and
to apply your learning to business scenarios? * As an individual what

51. Disadvantages Of Wireless Technology
No doubt, in last few decades technologies involved in the communication systems have been
developed exponentially along with attractive features and facilities. Wireless communication
system is one of the biggest inventions of the century and its developments can be processed in
different terms of generation having approx. 10 years for each one. At every step of each
generation is to provide to link with persons at every corner of globe with set of quality services.
Today we are in Fourth Generation; it is categorized based on its characteristic services and
features like transmission signals, data transmission rate, bandwidth frequency and nature of the
services provided. First generation (1G) is introduced in 1980, so each generation had been comes
at the end of every decade. First generation used analog signals, circuit switching and FDMA with
30 kHz channels occupying the 824MHz 894MHz frequency band .First generation supports only
voice transmission .The data was not reliable; there were interrupted communication and few other
problems in First Generation [1]. Second Generation (2G) technology was established in 1990,
which used digital signals for transmission and two digital modulationschemes TDMA and CDMA
with circuit switched network . Second Generation uses the existing radio spectrum to provide the
services. It was developed to overcome the previous generation s drawbacks, and to have data and
voice transmission. But this generation also has few drawbacks like
