This case report illustrates the improvement of an acupuncture treated patient who received a
traumatic brain injury from a snowboarding accident. The patient progressed from initially not
being able to walk, having difficultly with speech, and poor eyesight, to where he has now regained
significant motor function, speech and vision and has returned to snowboarding. This case shows
the beneficial effects of acupuncture when tailored to the patient s condition. Through a core
acupuncture protocol plus specific points added to address the patient s ongoing concerns, a patient
can make great advances. This case adds to the medical literature by demonstrating the wide
reaching effects of acupuncture on traumatic brain injury(TBI) treatment. Past studies have focused
on medical services post TBI with the use of acupuncture leading to increased cerebral blood flow

After we had flipped it, we were all shocked and said nothing. We felt impotent. Because we were
so young and had flipped this vehicle over, we then quickly realized that we had not only flipped
the golf cart, but we had flipped it in my front yard. The large moon was in the sky, shining its
light right on our mistake. We all knew that my dad could see us at any second. I knew that if he

Electrical Fire in Club
An electrical fire starts in a nightclub with at least 250 to 300 patrons inside and quickly spreads
throughout the club. Due to the nightclub s location, in a high crime area of town near
abandoned buildings, security bars cover the doors and windows. All occupants of the building,
with the exception of the nightclub employees, are unaware of the other exits available during
an emergency and a vast majority stampedes the front door to seek safety. As the fire continues
to spread, heavy smoke proceeds to fill that main room where most of the 250 300 patrons were
at the time. This heavy smoke causes patrons to lose visibility and have difficulty breathing. The
patrons that have been able to escape the building suffer from major to minor injuries, while some
patrons are still trapped. These patrons are suffering from burns and severe smoke inhalation
(some may have possibly succumbed to the injuries). The nightclub s employees have exited the
building through various exits and contacted 911 and emergency personnel (fire department,
police department, paramedics, etc.) arrive within 10 to 15 minutes of the first call. Ultimately,
there are over 110 fatalities (on site and at the hospital) as a result of this fire. Over 100 patrons
also suffered physical injuries and most will be affected mentally and emotionally as a result. The

The Theory And The Neurocognitive Theory
The field of psychology has been working hard to understand what dreams are, why we have them,
and what they mean. In this paper, I am going to use four different theories to analyze a dream I
had. Some of these theories disagree with the other, but in my opinion they all have their strong
points. Freud s Theory, the Activation Synthesis Theory, the Problem Solving theory, and the
Neurocognitive theory, are the four theories dominating the field right now, and will be the four I
will use to further understand my dream.
