This document provides photos and descriptions of the playgrounds, fields, and other areas around Hornbeam Primary School. It highlights features like two playgrounds, a large field used for sports, trees around the edge of the field representing the different class names, a new Willow Dome structure built by the whole school, an adventure trail that can get muddy, a nearby university sports ground, and a 5 mile cycle path to the seaside town of Whitstable. The photos were taken by students to help acquaint a newcomer with the school.

of football gets played here!

of trees … did you know all our
classes are named after different
types of British trees!

8. This is our Willow Dome. It was built this
year and not much willow has grown
around it yet.
The whole school helped to build the
structure of the Willow Dome.

9. Here is the Adventure Trail – this is very
fun to play on but can get muddy in the
winter.

10. Behind our school is a university.
This is their Sports Ground.

11. We also have a
great cycle path
running behind
our school which
goes on for 5 miles
to the seaside at
Whitstable.
