The students at El Carmen Primary School observed the life cycle of silkworms in their classroom. They saw silkworm eggs hatch, the silkworms grow and make cocoons, then butterflies emerge from the cocoons and lay new eggs to restart the cycle. The students provided pictures of each stage and found the experience very interesting.

The students at El Carmen School experimented with touch by feeling different objects and deciding if they were hard or soft, smooth or rough, and hot or cold. They touched various objects to learn about textures and temperatures through their sense of touch. Pictures were taken of the students conducting the experiment.

They saw silkworm eggs hatch, the silkworms grow and make cocoons, then butterflies emerge from the cocoons and lay new eggs to restart the cycle.
