This document discusses Erjang, a Java implementation of the Erlang virtual machine (BEAM) that allows Erlang programs to run on the JVM. It provides information on Erjang's capabilities, such as being able to boot Erlang/OTP and run various Erlang applications and features like Mnesia distributed database and TCP/IP stack. However, it notes that some BEAM instructions and BIFs are missing or only partially implemented, and many OTP modules require NIFs or drivers that are not fully supported. References for more information on Erjang are also provided.
