2. A versatile, enthusiastic, and well read individual,
Erica Frischkorn aims to provide dynamic skills to her
students. Erica has an exceptional skill set and
comprehensive knowledge of her subject, which has
been augmented by a brilliant academic background.
She received her Bachelor's degree in English and
French Honors from McMaster University, Hamilton,
ON in 2009. She then went on to complete Bachelor of
Education in English, French, and Special Education
at Queen's University, Kingston, ON. Currently, she is
enrolled at Florida Gulf Coast University and is
expected to receive her Master's degree in Education
in December 2013.
3. Owing to her perseverance, sincerity, and
dedication, she also received a scholarship from
the Florida Canada Linkage Institute. Apart from
this, Erica Frischkorn is a member of the Golden
Key International Society. In her professional
career, Erica proved her expertise as an adept
French and English teacher and helped the
students in their learning process with her
knowledge and wisdom. She taught French to
Grade 9 students at a school in Napanee, ON. Here
she promoted oral communication and writing in
the French language by introducing interactive
learning sessions.
4. Erica has also been honored as the Ontario
Certified teacher by the Council of the Ontario
College of Teachers. She also taught English to
Grade 12 students and enhanced student's
interest in reading comprehension through
differentiated instruction and problem based
learning. Apart from this, Erica Frischkorn also
has an experience of teaching French to the
students of Grade 6 and 7 in Mississauga, ON,
while using Advanced Integration Method(AIM).
Here, she focused on encouraging oral
communication by leading class discussions and
analyzing related texts.
5. Erica is a compassionate and responsible
individual who believes in giving back to society.
She contributes to various community activities.
She has worked as a Student Ambassador in
Hamilton, ON, where she helped students in their
academic endeavors. She has also been a
volunteer tutor in Naples, FL., where she assisted
students during literacy days and student field
trips.
