My family & I got affected when recalled products made us sick

1) I bought a FitBit 2 years ago and got skin irritations, which led
me not to use it at all. Then, I found out that the product was
recalled! The manufacturer did not contact me.
2) My wife purchased a brand new car. Every week she
experienced a loss of tire pressure. She found out that her car
tires had been recalled after 3 months of problems.
