________ I have been briefed on the Enlisted Retention Board (ERB) NAVADMIN 129/11.
________ I fully understand that I will be reviewed by a board for retention on Active Duty in
the Navy.
________ I further understand that I have the opportunity to submit a conversion request for one
of the following rates:
CS(SUB), CTI, CTM, CTN, CTR, CTT, ET-NAV, ET-RADIO, FT, HM, ITS,
LS(SUB), MM-WEPS, NC(COUNSELOR), YN(SUB)
________ I understand that if I elect to submit a conversion package for one of the above listed
rates, I must meet all requirements applicable to the selected rate except the specific
exceptions listed in NAVADMIN 129/11.
________ I understand that if I elect to submit a conversion package for one of the above listed
rates, I must submit my conversion package to BUPERS no later than 15 JUN 2011.
________ I understand that if I am approved for conversion to one of the above rates that I will
not be reviewed at the ERB.
________ I understand that it is my responsibility to review my OMPF account on BOL and
ensure that my record is up to date.
________ I understand that I have the right to submit missing documents to the ERB.
________ I understand that all correspondence to the ERB must be received NLT 1 AUG 2011
for E4-E5 candidates and 6 SEP 2011 for E6-E8 candidates..
________ I understand that the results from the ERB will be published NOV 2011.
________ I understand the last day for commands to submit operational waiver requests for
Sailors assigned to their command who were not selected for retention on active duty
is 13 January 2012. All requests must receive an endorsement from the first flag
officer in the Chain of Command. Waivers should be requested to satisfy operational
requirements, not for the convenience of service members or to allow for separation
leave/temporary duty period.
