2. Write down what happens on a normal
day in your life.

3. At 7pm on a weekday in the UK, many
families all sit together to watch Soap
Operas.
Soap Operas usually follow a very
generic format, where the viewer
watches the trial and tribulations of a
range of different families in a very close
proximity.
Could your family be in a soap opera?

4. In groups of 4 or 5 you are going write the
opening scene of a soap opera.
The theme of the opening scene needs to be
based around one of the following themes:
love, money, trust, betrayal, illness.
The opening scene needs to include at least
4 different family members, who all must have
a speaking part.
The scene can’t last any longer than 5
minutes.

5. Now it is time to perform the opening
scene of your Soap Operas.
