INTRODUCTION
The pesticides industry plays a crucial role in
global agriculture by providing:
● products that help control and manage pests,
diseases, and weeds that can harm crops.
● Pesticides encompass a broad category of
chemical substances designed to protect plants
and crops from various forms of damage.
● These substances are used to enhance
agricultural productivity, protect food supplies,
and ensure economic stability in the
agriculture sector
Introduction
02
Contaminants in
Pesticides Wastewater
Pesticides wastewater can contain a variety of
contaminants that pose environmental and
health risks.
● Pesticides Residue
● Heavy Metals such as ( Zn , Cd , Pb )
● Organic Pollutants Such as ( DDT , Aldrin ,HCB )
● Surfactants and Adjuvants
Contaminants in Pesticides
