4. Young Steven Paul Jobs
Born on Feb 24th, 1955 in san Francisco,
California, U.S., to Abdulfattah John Jandali and
Joanne Schieble.
Later he was adopted by Paul and Clara jobs
when he was an infant.
He did his schooling from Los Altos City.
Had interest in Electronics.
He skipped his 5th grade
Took his first electronic classes in high school.
After school, attended lectures at the Hewlett
Packard (HP) company where he met Steve
Wozniak.
5. When Steve was in 9th grade, he met
wozniak(co-founder of Apple) who had the
common interest in electronics.
He Graduated high school in 1972
Enrolled in Reed College in Oregon , but was
dropped out after only one semester.
Slept on his friends dorm(quarters) room
floor and dropped in on classes of interest
(electronics).
Steve gets his first job at videogame maker
Atari as a technician , and later makes a trip to
India to ‘seek enlightenment’ with his friend
Daniel Kottke.
Steve convinced wozniak to work with him in
building computers.

7. In 1976, when jobs was just 21, he and wozniak
started Apple Computer.
They started in the jobs family garage.
Jobs and wozniak are credited with
revolutionizing the computer industry by
democratizing the technology and making machines
smaller , cheaper and accessible to everyday
consumers.
after the success of Apple I , 3 years later Apple’s
second model Apple II made the company’s sales
increased by 700% to $139 million.
9. In may 1985 , Apple’s board sides with John
Sculley(CEO) and strips Steve off all executive
duties .
Steve jobs resigns from Apple on 17 sep
1985.
Started his own company called NEXT with
80% of shares.
Which deals with the computer hardware
and software.
Later he purchased a company [George
Lucas] for $10 million and named it as PIXAR
Animations.
It was the first of its kind to deal with
animations.

11. Steve married to Laurence Powell in
1991.
The couple had 3 children. Reed , Erin
and Eve jobs
12. By then , Apple’s sales were strung and
was facing $700 million of loss .
Eventually Apple hires Steve Jobs as
“ Informal adviser “ to CEO.
His comeback made Apple go in a
positive way.
He released iMac and led the company by
profit.
On 5th Jan 2000, Steve officially becomes
Apple’s CEO.

14. Apple introduced many revolutionary products as Macbook Air , iPod
and iPhone, all of which resulted in evolution of modern technology.
Company boasted a profit of $1.58 billion after the release of iPhone
in 2007, had $18 billion surplus in the bank and zero debt.
15. Steve Jobs resigns as CEO of Apple , On 24th aug 2011. Tim
cook becomes Apple CEO .
The very next day of iPhone 4S launch , that is On 5th oct 2011
Apple Inc. announced that its founder had passed away. After
battling pancreatic cancer for nearly a decade. He was 56 year old.

risks which are rare in Corporate America. He dint market
– test anything . It was all his own Judgment and
Perfectionism and Gut “
During his life, he received several awards including National Medal of
Technology and Jefferson Award for Public Service.
He was inducted into California Hall of Fame in 2007. Same year, he
was named the most powerful person in business by Fortune magazine.
In 2009, Fortune magazine named him as the CEO of the decade.
Following year, he ranked at No 17 in Forbes list of The World's Most
Powerful People.
In 2010, he was named person of the year by Financial Times.
