Lemon is a careless clown whose clothes are often torn. He buys a sewing machine to mend his torn clothes. However, his clothes become full of stitches from all the mending. When Lemon is invited to a birthday party, his friends suggest he wear something nicer than his usual stitched clown suit. However, he has no other clothes options. At the party, the guests are surprised to see Lemon in his usual stitched clown suit. After the party, Lemon buys a new suit and promises to take better care of it.

11. The Careless Clown
I have a friend. His name is
Lemon. He is a clown. He is a
careless clown. I always watch
his show. He always ends up
with torn jackets, socks and
pants. “Friend, take care of
your things.” I usually tell him.

12. So Lemon bought a sewing
machine. Every time his
clothes got torn, he sewed
them with the machine. His
clothes were full of stiches.

13. The day before Lemon’s
birthday, we had a meeting.
We wanted to thank him for
making us happy by giving him
a party. We were worried
about what Lemon would
wear to the party.

14. “Dress like anyone else,” one
friend said. “You will look
elegant in a suit,” another
friend added. “What will I
wear?” he asked me. So we
went to his house and opened
his cabinet.

15. “This is awful. Your clothes
are full of stitches,” I said.
“But I don’t have other
clothes to wear,” he said.
“These clothes will just be
fine,” he added.

16. At the party, our friends
were surprised to see
Lemon. The hero of the
show was in his old clown
suit, full of stitches.

17. The next day, Lemon asked me
to go with him. We went to a
store selling suits. He bought a
suit. “This time I will take care
of this suit,” he promised.
