developed over a series of digital inventions
which made things fast and easy and less
cumbersome.
Internet, Television, Social Media, Mobile
phones etc. have been the medium to
develop India into Digital India.

country in the world has the need of
connectivity as we are evenly distributed
among all parts of the world and connectivity

spread education, create awareness, protest on
any illegal action and various other social
activities.

8. Snapshot of Digital India is incomplete
without Social media. With the emergence of
Orkut and Facebook, we have shown huge
interest in social media sites not only to
socialise with our friends but also to gain
knowledge of what’s happening around, to
spread any news if required.
So social media has actually helped
developing a more Digital India than before.

Internet, there have been some websites
which have played significant role to now
what we call a more Digital India.
India created its own search engine Yahoo

many years and thanks to television, mobile
phones, computers, internet and social
networking sites for letting us made this
possible.
These are not only helping us to learn more
and more of our interests but also to spread
the knowledge we got and to help others as
