3. Introduction
In the past, the women were supposed to stay home to take care of
the house while the men were to go out there to work
However, the world is growing and times are changing. Countries
are developing very quickly.
A developed country would make education a necessity for all,
including women.
With education, more and more women are educated, and this
makes them ready for the workplace
Then, they can finally be out there and earn their own living.
My stand : Women should not only stay at home to take care of
their children, but also be out there to earnt heir own living.

Point : Depriving women of the chance to work, is depriving a
country from prosperity
Explanation : Women are talents, they bring much help to the
workforce. It is proven that women surpass man in IQ. There
are many high ranking women in all careers.
Example : South Korea’s president, Park Geun-hye, is the first
female president in South Korea’s history.
Link : If women were to stay home, and not go out to work,
where would the world be now? Women are intelligent and
ought to be out there in the workplace. Besides earning their
own living, it also helps the country in certain careers.
Therefore, women should not only stay home to take care of
their children, but to work outside too.

Point: Women working outside would earn additional income
for the family
Explanation: With the rising costs of living in all countries, its
always good to have more money, hence having both parents to
work outside is a common sight
Example : For example, in Singapore, 43% of the families in
Singapore are dual-income families.
Link : When women are out there in the workplace working, it
would garner more income for the family, allowing their lives to
be much easier. Therefore, women should not only stay home
to take care of their children, but to also head outside to work.

Point: Women should be treated equally, and it is unfair to
deprive women of what men is entitled to.
Explanation : It is stereotypical to say that women belongs to
the kitchen. We are all humans and therefore, we should be
treated equally.
Example : Gender equity is one of the goals by the United
Nations Millennium Project
Link : Women and men are all human beings and hence, we all
deserve equal rights to everything. It is unfair to only allow
men to go to work, and not women. Hence, women should be
allowed in the workforce too.

7. Conclusion
Women should not only stay home to take care of their
children, but be allowed in the work place too. It is unfair to
deprive women of these rights as women and men are all
human beings, hence needing to be treated with equality.
Women heading to work also helps the family to earn more,
allowing them to have an easier live. Women also contributes to
the country as they can be as intelligent as men, and depriving
them from the chance to work is a lost to the country. Women
play an important role in the world’s economy, and without
them, the world would not be the world it is now.
