In order for active student engagement
to occur, teachers need to develop
effective classroom management
routines.
Para lograr que los alumnos estén
motivados y enganchados, la maestra
debe lograr un efectivo manejo de las
rutinas de la clase.

Students are not attentive to what is being said in a lecture 40% of the time.

que se le dicta clase oral el 40% del tiempo.
Students retain 70% of the information in the first ten minutes of a lecture
but only 30% in the last ten minutes.
Los alumnos retienen un 70% de la información en los primeros 10 minutos
