The project is a mixed-use retail, leisure and hotel development in Dubai, located on the
edge of the creek in a high-profile, historically sensitive area adjacent the Kuwaiti, Saudi
Arabian, British and American Embassies. The project is divided into four phases, involving
the design, construction and operation of retail, food and beverage outlets, hotels and
water side amenities.
WEST YAS VILLAS, Abu Dhabi: design review:
West Yas Villas is a development of 1000 villas and associated amenities on Yas Island,
Abu Dhabi. My task was to review the contractor’s structural drawings, structural
calculation and all models.
BAY’S EDGE TOWER, Dubai: design variations.
The project is a G+22 tower, primarily residential with associated retail, parking and leisure
amenities. The variations involved the modification of the retail and leisure amenities to
enable additional residential units to be created and to meet DM requirements.
AL MINA PALACE, Abu Dhabi: extension.

3. The project is to extend this VVIP’s villa, and incorporate enhanced MEP and ID
installations. My scope is structural design and supervision, and coordination and checking
of the contractor and precast company’s shop drawings.
